This place only cares about money and not your pets health. I had the worst experience of my life with them today. My dog got a laceration on his right hip and I called them around 11:30am, I was told it was a 3 hr wait but I was okay with it cause I knew he needed either stitches or staples and antibiotics. I drove from over an hour away to get him there, when I got there I was not on a waiting list like I was told so I had to wait another 3hrs. When we finally got back to see the Dr I was given a quote of $750-$850 to get his wound treated of because he would have needed anesthesia, I obviously could not afford that so I told them that I would take him somewhere else. They still charged me $175 for the exam, a catheter and his IV that they had started. I took my dog to another vet and the first thing this vet told me was that because my dog was on seizure medication for epilepsy she would not be recommended to put him on anesthesia cause he could possible not wake up from it, keep in mind I never mentioned to this new vet that prior to coming to her I went to VSS and thats was the first thing they recommended to do. The second vet I took him to cleaned his wound, stapled it up, gave him pain medication, antibiotics and a cone for $318. And I only waited 15minutes to be seen. I would never recommend anyone to take their fur baby to VSS. They are very greedy and only care about money.
