Tim Cross grossly underbid our kitchen project to get our job. Once we hired him and paid him $4850 to start our project, we learned that he wanted us to use a very low end cabinet company that he could double the price on what the cabinets cost. We needed a couple cabinets with retractable doors. This created a HUGE problem because those 2 cabinets needed to be custom made vs the premade cabinets he wanted us to use. He then upped the price and told us the custom cabinets would match 80% to the premade ones. Who wants cabinets at the center of their kitchen that are an 80% match to the others? We needed to get other cabinet bids. The 2 other companies he referred us to he priced out at $18000 more than his estimate. One of them was from a big box store that he said he got a 45% discount on to get them down to $55000. There's NO WAY those cabinets retail were $100000. We learned from the company we wanted to use that he marked their cabinets up 57% = a $20000 markup on $35000 cabinets making his charge to us $55000.

We fired him when we couldn't get our project done the way we originally discussed for close to the amount he quoted us.

He will not take or return our phone calls and refuses to refund our money. He's now cost us a lot of time, effort, money, and stress in moving forward with our remodeling project.

Tim Cross is a liar and a cheat whose unethical business practices need to be known so no one else falls victim to his shady dealings.

Cross installed my entire kitchen. Would give them 10 stars if I could, beyond expectations! Highly recommend!
