    On November 8, 2024, I signed a 12-month membership agreement with Blush Bootcamp of Blue Springs and was charged a total of $261.04. Their contract states that, “there is a 30-day money back guarantee which allows the Member to cancel this Agreement without penalty if they attend 12 boot camp sessions in this initial 30-day period. This 30-day period begins from the date of the signature and ends exactly 30 days from the time this Agreement was signed”. I attended 12 classes within the first 30 days and asked to cancel my membership for the full refund. I was refunded $151.45 on December 8th but was not issued the full refund as stated in their contract. In addition, I have emailed multiple times asking for assistance regarding the situation and the business has stopped replying altogether. I emailed Blush Bootcamp on December 12th and December 24th seeking assistance and did not receive a reply to either email. I am seeking the full refund of $261.04, as stated in their membership agreement.

    Hello! 

     

    Her signed agreement states that a 30-day money back guarantee is in place with 12 attended sessions and will deduct the amount of the purchased heart rate monitor. This member was never charged a heart rate monitor, and she was refunded both her first month and initial investment, equalling the total amount in question of her complaint. Thus, her complaint is not valid and holds no value. 

     

    You will see the agreement verbiage in the attached response as well as the receipt showing two different refunds, which equal the amount of $261.04. You will also see her full signed agreement, which is signed upon signing up and agreement to said terms in the agreement.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have been refunded the remaining $109. Blush stated in their email that "we see the confusion in verbiage, and we are working on getting that updated going forward - thank you for pointing that out." 

    Hopefully they will be updating their agreement so that this does not happen to others.
