    I contacted the Blue Springs Planet Fitness location during the lockdown period around March of 2020. During this time, I called to cancel my membership, and they suggested a three-month hold. After the 3-month hold, I contacted them to let them know the pandemic was still ongoing and I elected to proceed with a cancellation. They informed me that due to the pandemic the process had changed, and they could cancel over the phone.

    It was just discovered they have continued to charge my bank account for 4 years when I had already canceled with them. I am asking for at least the last 24 months to be refunded, which I feel is fair considering they have continued to charge me for going on now 5 years without my authorization.

    Please feel free to request them to review the call records. This is a predatory practice and a sneaky way to force consumers to stay locked into charges. If you check your records I have not been in whatsoever.

    I am requesting that this membership be canceled as I have requested numerous times, my last 24 months to be refunded, and confirmation of the appropriate changes in writing.
