I bought a truck through *********** and was an employee there for a year at this dealership. I had it for 4 months and got a better job offer so I couldn&#**;t pass it up. I gave the **** dealership a month&#**;s notice that I had another job. The truck had ****** miles on it and I wanted to get a repair taken care of before the warranty is up. There is a vibration in the driveline in the trailer. They said they would balance the tires and driveline to fix this. So when I took their loaner back to them because there was a problem with the tires. The owner said they did this and they didn&#**;t want to mess with it anymore because they were chasing a "ghost." It was not a "ghost" and I can prove it was doing what it was doing and said he said his best mechanic already rolled out the door which he was talking about me. He said I was a mechanic and can figure it out and fix it myself, or take it to a dealer and get it fixed myself. I took the truck back. As I was leaving the dealership, the service manager was asking why I was taking the truck. He said the machine was broke and they could not look at it. So the owner had lied to me. I asked them about a buyback and he said he is not buying it back. I would like a refund.

Mr. ***** is a trained automotive service technician. He purchased a short-bed F150 4x4 pickup from us right before resigning his position. His initial complaint was a driveline vibration pulling a trailer. We evaluated the truck and determined the issue was not unusual for a lightweight F150 shortbed 4x4 truck pulling the trailer.  He has diagnosed many similar issues.

Mr. ***** didn't mention in his complaint that I suggested he take it to a different **** dealership (since it is under warranty) for a second opinion. He would rather push the issue with his former employer.  If he actually believes the truck is defective, he should pursue it with a lemon law attorney and get a second opinion.  I suspect he will have trouble proving his allegations.  We have no interest in continuing to pursue his complaint.

My issue started on June 20 of 2024. I took my vehicle in because I went out that morning and tried to start it and it would not start. I called Bill Grant Ford and they told me to jumpstart it and bring it in and they would take a look at it. I did that, they called me later on that day and said that they could not find anything wrong with the vehicle and that I could come and pick it up. I did not have the issue again until September 11 of 2024 when my vehicle left me stranded at work with no way of getting home. I called Bill Grant Ford again and they said bring it in and well take another look at it I told them also that I needed an oil change and to go ahead and do that while they had my car in their care. They then called me back and said we couldnt find anything wrong and your oil change is done. You can come pick up your vehicle. I asked them when I went to pick up my vehicle. My car is about to be out of warranty what if this happens again and Im out of warranty the only response that I received was a shrug of the shoulders. I was then advised to take my vehicle to the original dealership where I purchased it and have them keep it and look at it and figure out what was wrong with it. They had my vehicle for two weeks. They could not find anything wrong with my vehicle. I then contacted a lemon law lawyer about this and come to find out that Bill Grant Ford when my car was in their care on September 11 of ***************************************************************************************** to them that day for the same issue that took place on June 20 of 2024 when I called them to ask them why they did not put notes in the answer that I received from ***** was if it does not make us any money we do not add notes. I told him well. I had an oil change that day and you did make money off of me so why are there zero notes in there for September 11 of 2024. This is a very long story please reach out.

This is a highly unusual request.  We have checked this vehicle on both documented occasions according to ****************** standard procedures with "no problem found". In her complaint, Mrs. **** indicates another dealer kept the vehicle for over two weeks. Clearly, a problem doesn't exist.

We suspect the vehicle has been kept "active" either from the key being left inside the vehicle or a door/hatch, etc switch remaining open. I know she has been frustrated and is accustomed to more "hands on" attention than we can give this matter.

I assured her in our conversations, that if we can verify an issue with her car, we will fix it.

Our dealership lot has ***** new vehicles sitting idle on any given day. If we are unable to start and move them on a regular basis, they experience the same issue she is experiencing.

Their is no further course of action until the vehicle presents itself.
