    1. The customer service and guest relations, at Silver
    Dollar City, is and has been horrific.
    2. For a billion dollar business, the web site is also horrific to
    navigate, so much that I have called to double check times and dates of
    business hours, prior to travel for decades.
    3. The way they treat handicapped guest is repulsive; I dealt with it
    year after year for my nephew.
    4. They oversell season passes, to a point that it must be a violation
    to maximimum capacity standards, but the City of Branson turns their
    head and allows cover up for restaurant health dept violations, in
    addition to safety violations for the Herschends.
    5. I have seen the rides broken down many times and have been evacuated
    off of them, but you will never get news coverage on injuries and
    deaths.
    6. Their new IT system is non-functional, but more so, the management
    is severely lacking in training and basic customer service skills.

    I have tried to discuss my concern with several Silver Dollar City representatives. I purchased 3 season passes for my family in 2020 when the park was closed for the majority of the year due to Covid, since my husband and I both work in healthcare and my mom is a transplant patient we were unable to use them. I received an email saying we could roll them over for the 2022 season (for a few of course) , however when I tried multiple times to do this (with phone calls and emails) I did not hear back. Now we are out over $500 and they will not refund ** or allow ** to use passes this season. Really ruining such a good relationship with a supposed faith based park.

    *** had several phone calls with the same representative who simply kept saying the same thing, that they couldnt roll over passes or do anything to help me. Monday I received an email asking me to call because they have a solution. I have called back twice and responded to the email but have not heard back yet.

    We have been to Silver Dollar City twice in the last 9 months. Have not been there for 20 years. Sure dont plan going back. Last winter we planned to see the Christmas lights. Was at the park early waited and waited to get in and finally after a couple hours were turned away because of a fire. I understand they couldnt let us in but we did not feel like the cared at all. We had driven over 3 hrs. Had hired a ranch hand to house sit and feed animals. Paid for a hotel for two nights. And didnt get to see what we came for. Had tickets to another show the next day so couldnt do sdc the next day. So we had a family reunion on ************ this week. 21 of **. EVERYONE was disappointed in SDC. Waiting time was over an hour some two hours. Once after waiting two hours they closed the ride before we could get on. Two of our family were forced to climb down a ladder to get off of a ride. Really!!!! Not a place our family will return. Not a place we will recommend.
