Booked a stay for a group of groomsmen. Called 16 days in advance to change date. They FAILED to update my reservation. When we arrived, they overcharged my card by $200. The room we were put in wasnt the room that was booked. When I asked why we werent in the room we initially booked and asked nicely for accommodations to for sleeping (b/c it was either 3 adults per bed with two people crammed on a twin-sized day bed OR 2-3 people sleeping on the floor), the owners of the condo, ************** came talking about how we were in the wrong for booking a room with too many people in it. ****** was very condescending when talking to the groomsmen and their partners, calling us children (everyone is 21+), referring to us as the ***** *****, and using his height to try and intimidate us into doing what he wanted. When asked about a partial refund, ****** implied we could just leave and find somewhere else to stay if we wanted to because Its 4th of July weekend and we can rebook anyways. When we came back to the condo after the wedding and discovered we were locked out, **** didnt answer the phone until the last ring then made it seem as if we were incompetent for getting locked out. The furniture had some mysterious stains and none of the beds felt clean. We were so sketched out we checked everything for bedbugs. When we attempted to contact the owners or the main resort upon our departure to continue our conversation about a partial refund, NO ONE answered their phone or text messages. They ghosted unhappy guests, hoping their problems would go away.Overall, Branson King Resort showed their true colors. They are scammers taking advantage of people visiting Branson, offering rooms and suites that look good on paper but are terrible in reality. Their customer service is abysmal. I do NOT recommend this resort especially if you are younger than the Boomer owners. Theyll just talk down to you and treat you like youre an idiot.

BBB needs to investigate this property, the owner yells and belittles her employees, they don't get a break working long hours and barely any days off. She is nice to the guests, but not to her employees.

Where do I start! Was not as advertised. Reservation was made for a king ground floor room, got a double queen room on second floor, mind you we are both disabled. No hot tub and pool was ice cold. Tried to go to game room twice but lobby locked, called front desk and asked about it and was told not busy so they locked up. Had to use towels over again but I feel 5 days is too much. No blankets on beds, no phones in rooms, housekeeping did not check if we needed anything. Went to ask them about getting toilet paper and coffee, trash bags, waited 30 minutes for them , housekeeping did not speak English , we ended up buying coffee. Fire alarms went off and no one checked on guests . Kinda annoyed by all the signs about being fined for everything. In all we left 3 days early and it wasnt a happy anniversary or birthday celebration that we planned . Have yet to receive deposit or any response from management.

My husband and I visited this establishment from 7/6/23 to 7/9/23 and we were robbed of our $50 deposit. We paid cash for this and as we watched the money go into and envelope the day we arrived, this envelope was no where to be found on the day of our check out. All of the employees live there so after the woman who took our deposit was called to find it, ******* is her name. She recognized us immediately, remembered taking our money, finally found our envelope for the deposit only for it to be EMPTY. Weve called several times and were told it Would be returned to us via CashApp but to no avail. I hope someone reads this and is saved from a similar experience. Id like to mention we stayed in the ************************* room which was suitable except for the towels that looked like theyre more likely used for cleaning than drying off.
