    On December 13, ****** ***** informed us that she had forwarded our concerns to her manager for further review. She also stated that foreclosure seemed to be the only way out of our timeshare agreement, but she would ask if there were alternative options. We followed up in January, but unfortunately, we have yet to receive a response.The reality is, I can no longer afford to keep paying for this timeshare when those funds are desperately needed to provide a better living situation for my family. We simply dont use the timeshare enough to justify the cost. In fact, there were two occasions when we couldnt afford to use it at all. Meanwhile, the balance isnt decreasing as quickly as Id hoped, and the rising maintenance fees have only added to the financial strain. This arrangement hasnt saved us any moneyits become a burden.Adding to our difficulties, I recently lost my job and had to find a new one, which further strained our finances. Since purchasing the timeshare, my wife and I have expanded our family, and our priorities have shifted. We need to focus on providing for our children. Planning our own vacations and saving the money weve been putting into the timeshare feels like a far more practical solution. Instead of grappling with limited or uncertain opportunities to use the timeshare, wed rather save for vacations we can take when were financially ready or put that money towards our familys future.We are young, and taking a foreclosure hit on our credit is not an option we can afford. What are we supposed to do?

    I investigated this complaint.  It appears to be a complaint for the Bayside Vacation Club and not Stillwaters Rental Management.  In this case, I took the extraordinary step and  contacted the Club to get a status update on this account.   From what I gather, this account was closed for non-payment.    This is not only the wrong company but it appears that the relationship has already been terminated.  If you need further info, I would suggest contacting ****** at the Bayside Vacation Club since you already have her contact info.  Thank you ****

We thought we had invested in something we could bring our family to on the next vacation. We were faced with limited dates to book and no return of investment in the property. The inside waterpark has been scheduled to open since 2013 according to the reviews. I spoke with ****** ***** recently who stated she could not help me to cancel the timeshare, but if I did not pay the monthly payments it would go into foreclosure. She advised me to contact the *** who could help me with this. I called ****, I left voicemails, I have documented text messages. I have emails from the ****** B. *****, Bayside Vacation Club, Still Waters Resort, Account Services, phone number ************. I have read the previous reviews on BBB where the Still Water Resort is claiming not to be affiliated with Bayside Vacation Rental, yet it is one in the same, as indicated by the list of companies located at the same address and owned by the same person ***** A. *********. My sister and I just want to cancel this timeshare as soon as possible and be done with this.

    During our family vacation at Stillwater Resorts, we were approached by the concierge and offered incentives to attend a one-hour presentation regarding Bayside Vacation Club membership. The incentives included $200 off a boat rental and assurances of no obligation. After persistence from your staff, my husband, *****, and I, along with my mother and stepfather, agreed to attend the presentation on June 23, 2023.Presentation and Membership Enrollment At the presentation, we made it very clear we were not interested in a timeshare. **, our presenter, assured us repeatedly that this was not a timeshare but a membership and an investment that could be passed down to our children. He promised flexibility, including the ability to cancel the membership or sell it back to the company, and emphasized the supposed exclusivity of updated units for members and the forthcoming indoor water park as added benefits.After much deliberation and reassurances, we reluctantly decided to proceed with the membership. However, my parents declined due to their fixed income. The financial terms, including a down payment split into four installments, were agreed upon, and we were provided a membership package. We were instructed to book immediately to secure our week but later learned we could not book until the down payment was completed.Issues *****************Purchase Over the past year, we have experienced multiple issues that have caused us to lose confidence in the membership:Misrepresentation of Membership Benefits BJ promised exclusive access to updated units, but upon our June 2024 visit, our unit was outdated, poorly maintained, and in need of repairs.The indoor water park, promised to open in February 2024, remains incomplete with no explanation or timeline provided.Lack of Transparency on Fees We were not informed about additional $70 maintenance fees, which appeared as separate charges from the membership payment.

    We are incredibly frustrated with Still Waters Resort in *******, **, over the lack of response to our timeshare cancellation requests. Weeks go by without any reply, and the wait seems to get longer each time we send another plea. This whole purchase was built on lies, and none of the promises made have been delivered. We are shelling out over $4800 a year, yet we can't even manage to book a weekend stay for our families at a reasonable rate. Their website shows prices less than $1200, which feels like a slap in the face. **************** is abysmal, with only a ***** number that nobody answers, nor do they return calls to address any concerns or questions. What are we even paying for if we cant use the property and there is no one to help undo the damage?

    On February 20th of this year, we had a discussion with ***** regarding the cancellation of our timeshare. He advised us to send him an email for further assistance and he would help. Despite our consistent efforts, checking our emails daily and leaving numerous voicemails, we have not received any response from him. Our attempts to reconnect through the resort have also been unsuccessful. We kindly request your prompt attention to this matter so that we can progress with the cancellation process. While trying to coordinate both of our work schedules so we can both me on the call, we have made persistent efforts to contact ***** and the company for a resolution, yet our diligence has not been reciprocated.

    Weve made several attempts to communicate our dissatisfaction with this company and request for cancellation of our timeshare membership throughout the past year. Mostly all weve been met with is an aggravating silence leaving us stuck in this awful situation with no one willing to do anything about it. The resort's failure to respond to our legitimate concerns feels incredibly disrespectful, and has put us in a position that no consumer should be forced into.Our grievances with Still Waters Resort/Bayside Vacation Club extend beyond a lack of communication. On three separate occasions, we found our requested vacation dates unavailable, contrary to the flexibility we were promised upon joining. We were blindsided by recurring yearly maintenance fees which completely contradict the one-time payment per stay that we were initially led to believe. These contradictions between the assurances made by the resort's team and our actual experiences has been deeply disappointing, to say the least. The lack of transparency and customer care from ******************* has been even more disappointing. This whole thing does not feel like a fair or honest way to conduct business. Weve been patient, understanding, and as reasonable as possible while asking for the cancellation of our membership, and weve not been granted the same in return. Our attempts to resolve this issue with their resort have been largely unsuccessful and just incredibly frustrating/exhausting. We hope that this complaint will trigger a much-needed response from them at the very least, and finally some action so we can put this matter to rest.

    I write this complaint out of sheer frustration and disappointment with Stillwaters Resorts, a timeshare company that I've been dealing with. For several months I have been going back and forth with this company about a release from my agreement with them. Originally I was in contact with **** ****** who said he would help and then stopped responding to my emails. I got in contact with ****** ***** who said she would help me get an answer. She was more communicative however I have been waiting for a few weeks for her to get back to me.

    Over the past few months, I've sent multiple emails requesting a response. The silence from Stillwater Resorts is not only unprofessional but also unacceptable, creating an environment of uncertainty and dissatisfaction. I need this company to contact me.

    I look forward to your intervention to rectify this situation.

    Trying to use this timeshare has been difficult, to say the least. I need some assistance when dealing with this company. I have been in limbo with Bayside Vacation Club at ******************. I have expressed that I want to terminate my timeshare. I was led to believe that the company was going to terminate my membership, however, I received a response from representative ***** stating that the company would not buy back my timeshare. I am not trying to sell it, I want to get rid of the timeshare. All this company has done has left me with false promises and false hope.

    We got roped into a timeshare with this company that has been a nightmare to deal with. We feel as if this ownership has done nothing but ruined our hopes for family vacations and only continues to disappoint. We have tried to rent the timeshare out, we have tried to visit which was a complete and utter disaster considering we were only able to get a 1 bedroom, 1 bath.How is a family of our size supposed to stay in a 1 bedroom, 1 bath room? We werent able to use it the second year due to not having enough trading power to use the **** All of our stays have been unfortunate and we continuously asked ourselves, what are we even paying for here? We have tried multiple times to get in touch with ****, or anyone for that matter, at the resort but no one has responded. We want out of this ownership.

    Unfortunately, I am not aware of any sale or deed issue with regard to this person related to the nightly rental of a condominium for Stillwaters Rental Management.   My guess is that this is a Bayside Vacation Club issue which is a different company.  You can reach their ****** Services at ************ if you need assistance.  This is a working number and is staffed Mon-Fri.

    December 28, 2020, we purchased vacation interest in the Bayside Vacation Club Program. The cost which has been totally paid since January 3, 2021, was $23,676.00. We also paid for a closing and document preparation fee costing $449.00. The seller, within 90 days, was to issue to us an official Certificate of Ownership from the Bayside Vacation Club Trustee in a form necessary to convey to us a vacation ownership interest in the amount of the Points purchased. We purchased ******* points. This year we have called them on July 25th, July 30th, August 8th, August 11th and 12th, and again on August 22nd. We have written them a letter and emailed them through their website telling them we never received any documentation from them. The phone numbers we were given are usually sent to voicemail. Our messages are never responded to. On August 8, 2022, we finally got through to a ******** who forwarded our call to ****** who said she would ask her boss how to resend the deed. On August 12, 2022, we reached ****** and she said her boss will give us a call as soon as he/she can. That was 14 days ago. Since then, we only get the answering machine. We are very concerned about our investment and would like clarification as to our ownership. At this point we would like to give the Association the right of first refusal to purchase from us our points or at least receive the promised official Certificate of Ownership.

    Stillwaters ***************** does not have a business relationship with this individual. Simply because we operate an extremely large condominium complex hosting thousands of families annually and are easily accessible does not mean that every vendor or third party we work with or for allows us to have complete knowledge of a problem.

    By the words of the complaint, they acknowledge that they have had no business transaction with the rental company involving a room stay or room rental.  This involves a real estate transaction with the Bayside Vacation Club.  

    Normally, I would suggest reaching out at ************ (which is the line I have to the Bayside Vacation Club).   I was able to make immediate contact with them. You can also email them at ****************************************************** or ************************************************.     I believe I can help these individuals as well but within the context of the complaint I find this an inappropriate forum to do so.
