On March
10, 2022, Missouri Attorney General, Eric Schmitt, filed a civil lawsuit
against Derek McGlasson of McGlasson Family Construction for violations
of the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act.The lawsuit
alleges between February and September 2020, the defendant accepted
payment and never completed construction and general contracting
services for at least two Missouri consumers.
The losses were more than $20,000. McGlasson has failed to refund the consumers. The lawsuit is seeking restitution for the consumers involved.
The case is pending.
