    We had high hopes for Crawl Space Medic after meeting with **** who gave us the inspection and quote (September 18, 2024). The quote was itemized with all of the services **** said were necessary to get out job done with efficiency ($4760) . We paid the 25% down payment and were approved for financing for the other 75%, which was a hard hit to our credit, but we believed this job was worth it. We would like the hard hit taken off our credit report.When ****** and ** showed up for the job 2 weeks later (October 1, 2024), we were immediately told that our total was going to be an extra $5,000 what we were quoted because **** made mistakes in his inspection. When I told them that was unacceptable, they called **** and said they could take $1,500 off of that extra charge. Still making our total much higher than the quote we signed and agreed to and signed. The quote did have that specific part of the service (excavating our crawl space) on there, but **** did not estimate the cost of that part correctly. He quoted the cost $1,000.I called **** to see what could be done and he apologized and said he took "full responsibility" for the mistake. But I guess not because the original quote we signed was never honored by the company. An honest company would honor the quote. When we said we would need to cancel the service, he said he would issue a refund of our down payment.

Our intention is always to provide clear, transparent pricing based on the information we have at the time. We would rather tell you upfront than after the work is completed. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been and regret that we were not able to meet your expectations.


    We value honesty in all of our work and would never want to mislead our customers. While we understand youve decided to go with another company, at much higher price than us.
