I only wish I had read these reviews before I had them install my stair lift. They are very slow on responding to calls or emails. Had to have them come back multiple times regarding the retractable rail and many times about the remotes that do not work well. The tech said have them come back yearly for maintenance so I emailed to have them come out for a maintenance call. That took several weeks to get a response. When I did finally get a call, the man was rather arrogant and kept asking me if I wanted him to email a contract for service at $650 an hour! My son in law is in the elevator constructors union and he said that is more than some companies charge for businesses much less residential. I sincerely hope customers read these reviews before anyone else ends up with this negligent company.

Dear ****,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience youve experienced. We understand how important a fully functioning stairlift is to your daily life, and we regret that your experience with our service has not met your expectations. We understand there were ongoing issues with your unit earlier in the year, and its disappointing that you feel these were not fully resolved to your satisfaction. Upon reviewing our records, we noticed that the last time we visited your home was in February of last year. In October, when you contacted us, our team provided a quote for the service call, which covers the technician's time, travel, and up to one hour of work on-site. This ensures our licensed and professionally trained technicians can provide safe and effective service.Regarding the pricing, we strive to be transparent and fair, reflecting the costs associated with labor, travel, and maintaining a highly skilled team. We also want to note that stairlift warranties can be impacted by repairs performed by individuals who are not certified technicians, which can make long-term functionality challenging. We recognize the financial strain that repairs and maintenance can cause. We truly wish we could have found a way to address your concerns within your budget. While we regret that youve decided not to move forward with our services, we are grateful for the opportunity to discuss your concerns and your kind words about our willingness to listen. If circumstances change or you would like to revisit servicing your unit in the future, we would be happy to assist in any way we can. Your feedback helps us improve, and we genuinely wish you the very best moving forward.Sincerely,***** *****

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback, ******. Were very sorry if it felt like we brushed off your concerns and that it wasn't taken care of in a timely manner; that was never our intention. We received your email request on Monday and our service manager was out sick until Wednesday when he reached out to you. Were committed to helping our customers, and its important to us that your sisters stair lift works reliably for her.

For seat-related issues, the manufacturer typically provides a two-year warranty, but as its been three years, this warranty has unfortunately expired. Any repairs or service visits at this stage, do incur costs as we need to pay our technicians and cover the costs of our vehicles and materials. If you could share some pictures, wed be happy to take a look to better understand whats happening. Please email those to **************************************** Regular maintenance is essential to keeping these systems in peak condition, which is why we recommend a yearly maintenance plan to help catch any issues early.

Were here to help and can certainly arrange a service visit. Please feel free to reach out, and well gladly go over the details and work toward a solution that best fits your sisters needs. Thank you again for your feedback and the chance to assist.

Our elevator was installed by Country Home Elevator and the installation was all right. However, for service I give them one star and that is being generous. They dont return calls, dont respond to service request and do not honor warranty claims. Also a basic service call is a minimum of $600 plus whether they do any work or not. I dont recommend them and will not be using them again.

*****************, Our apologies that we did not meet your level of response and service. We did experience slow response for a period, but have that handled now. The Warranty claim was out side of Manufacture Warranty period. If you have Specifics with Dates and times we would be glad to review your claim. There may be some misunderstanding on the Service rates and we charge for service calls, We could not stay in business for 25 years, if we don't pay for a our technicians time. Here is my direct number if you have specifics you would like to discuss. ************ Respectfully, *********************

They charge $450 for a service call on a stair elevator. The visit lasted 40 minutes and they replaced the 2 batteries. Total cost was $536. This a real rip because most of the folks who have these for their stairs are older and we have the get these serviced every 3-4 years (they say) for batteries. This is my second set of batteries in 4 years. The first once only lasted 2 years and we don't use it a lot. I called and they listened, but that was the only response. Pretty sad....

Dear ****,Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you may have experienced. We take all customer concerns seriously and strive to provide the best service possible.Regarding your specific complaint, we understand that the cost of service and replacement parts can be a significant expense, especially for older adults who rely on these essential devices. We aim to be transparent with our pricing, and we always strive to inform our customers about the costs involved prior to performing any service. In this instance, it appears there was a miscommunication, and for that, we apologize. The charge of $450 for the service call includes the visit, diagnosis, and labor. The cost of the batteries was additional, bringing your total to $536. We understand that this can seem high, but please be assured that our prices reflect the quality of parts and expertise of our technicians. The longevity of the batteries can vary based on usage and other factors, and we recommend regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. It's important to note that our Service Coordinator should have provided a detailed service contract agreement for you to review and sign before the work commenced. Unfortunately, this step was overlooked, and we regret this oversight. Moving forward, we are reinforcing our protocol to ensure all customers have a clear understanding of the costs and services before we proceed with any repairs. We value your feedback and are committed to improving our processes. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us directly. We appreciate your business and hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

Purchased building in 2017 that had a Country Home elevator. Been in restoration ever since and started contacting Country Home 2 years ago. Never heard back till recently (my husband and I took turns calling at least every month), only to find out they will not inspect the elevator they only want to sell me a new one. Beware! Very poor service.

This elevator was installed in a Church in 1992 as a Residential elevator from ******* Elevator (No longer in business) We are not sure who She talked to 2 years ago, but we have no record of a site evaluation or CH Elevator being paid for a Service or Inspection after 2017. The ***************** allowed some Residential elevator to be used in Churches if they were installed prior to 1999. This unit is listed on the ************** elevator Database as Out of service. While the customer may have called many time, she should have been told We can not inspect or put this unit into service. My Apologies if that message was not clearly delivered. During that time we had a couple different team member fielding request to work on Older units. Due to the Manufacturer not being in business, we are not accepting new customers to work on ******* units. Adding the complexity that this unit can not be Certified as a Commercial use unit, we were not scheduling inspections that would result in a need for a full replacement. We were told they were not going to spend the money to put in a commercial unit and did not want to talk with a Commercial Sales team member. We can't be compelled to work on equipment that we know is not safe and will not meet ******** Minimum code and pass inspection. I offered twice to have a phone conversation about this and was told she would just post a bad review and not call or email to review what i am stating above. I know this is disappointing news, but We have no contract and was not able to offer a service that would have wasted the customers time. I would be glad to continue to talk with the customer in a civil reasonable discussion about what is required for Commercial Wheelchair lifts in ********. If I have missed something I am not aware of in this instance, I can't fix what I don't know first hand. Respectfully.

If you want good service after the fact, use another company. This company is always short staffed and does not do timely service. They have a lot of turnover and can never schedule because they are doing new installs, and don't seem to care about their customers after they get it installed.
