    My daughter bought us a gift certificate for $50 from this business but at the time they got it this place was located in macon mo then it burnt to the ground. They relocated to brookfield instead of rebuilding here. We do not got to brookfield much because it's 35 miles away we were going there yesterday for something else and we were told that they only honored the gift certificates for a year after they moved. She has our $50 still and we have nothing and I do not believe that is right at all. Our daughter gave her $50 in good faith and she has took it and ran is what it seems like to me. It dies have an expiration date but you are no longer local to us so I don't feel like that is right.

    Our restaurant in Macon suffered a complete loss due to fire on May 10, 2023. This customer contacted me on August 6, 2024 explaining that she had a gift certificate that expired in 2023 and wanted to know if we still honored it. Her gift card was purchased in 2022 and valid for one year from the date of purchase. She had the opportunity to use this gift certificate from the date of purchase in 2022 until May 9th, 2023 at our Macon location. We posted on our Facebook page at the time of our relocation that we had extended the expiration dates on gift certificates one year. I informed her of the extension on the expiration date in my reply. I also explained that I would not refuse to honor a gift certificate because of an expiration date due to our unfortunate loss. We are happy to honor the gift certificate at our location in Brookfield.
