    I received the check in the mail 12 day late seems like it was delivered by pony express, talk to the Post Master apparently, it was found.  Check was deposited have invoice.

    Myself working hard with my new business, investing over $100,000, my company will be professional, respectful, would never tell any client of mine, I have to deduct their hard earned money to stop payment on a check if they didn't receive it. Electric, Phone, Water, Gas, Mortgage company's don't work like that. This company Southside Lumber would be entitled to late fee's or simple have their service shutoff.

    Their policy's is totally wrong doing business like this.  No hard feeling taken on my part.  Everyone have a good day!

    ng very faithful to their customers. "**** Informed Delivery" I get a email and a photograph of my mail being delivered to my address. I asked this company for invoice to be mailed, no invoice, no check either in the mail. I don't understand why this lady, " I quote" cheating me out of money. I told this lady what is my address I gave you, she repeatedly said, ******* ********* *** ** **** *** ********** ** *****. I told her, then its your company's fault, not mine, or the ****, I told her I believe you are scamming out of money, one reason I didn't wait 6 hrs for have a check issue to me personally, also I believe, maybe the walnut log was estimate over $150, not $138.00, since you wouldn't send invoice this is your way to get even another $20 out my money! Other Words no check in the mail, no invoice, their policy is doing business with this company is out right crooked!

    We are sorry to hear that one of our vendors had a negative experience with our company. We strive to make transactions as seamless as possible, even to the point of mailing payment when desired. This way a vendor does not have to wait if the buyer is out of the office, as was the case here. Our log buyer scaled (determined the value) the vendor's log on the afternoon of January 3rd. His check and ticket were put in the mail the following morning. We don't know why the mail took so long to reach the vendor, we can only assume being so close to the holidays there were some delays. Unfortunately, we cannot be liable for lost or misdirected mail. It does appear, however, that the vendor did receive the original check as we can see that it has cleared our account for the whole amount. We apologize for the delay, but do feel that it was beyond our control.
    South Side Lumber has been in business since 1945 and under it's current ownership for the last 20 years. Owner *** ***** is very experienced and respected in the logging and sawmill industries. In the last year, South Side Lumber has purchased over $1 million dollars in Missouri hardwoods. We take pride in our reputation with our customers, vendors, and our community and would not risk these relationships to "scam" anyone for this or any other amount.
