    On 3/11/2025 I brought my **** F 150 to have oil change and Transmission fluid exchange. I had a coupon for a ***** oil change whicI told service writer. This was early in the morning. I did not receive any estimate of charges.I waited and waited and finally at 3:25 pm it was completed a different service writer rang me up again with no explanation of charges. What I was expecting was a bill in in $300 to $400 range but final bill was $844.16. I paid it but was very angry because they had not applied coupon to oil change nor given me estimate for trans fluid exchange.About a week later I went back and complained to service Writer who rang me up and was told that service writer who failed to apply coupon to oil change had been demoted to servicing in shop. He got a Mgr who offered me 2 free oil changes for the coupon issue but nothing for the Trans fluid change which I accepted.I made another online appointment for my wifes car at Same big O for oil change and Transmission fluid exchange but got a callfrom them saying they no longer did the ************* which I found odd.I contacted ******* automotive to have this service done and today it was completed for a total of $238.00. When I told them how much I paid at big O they were very skeptical so when I got home I looked again at my invoice and saw they had charged me $350.00 for 2.8 hours of labor to change transmission filter. If they had communicated this to me at the time I would have told them not to change it. I would request a refund of $350.00 for this unauthorized charge.

We understand how important clear communication and transparency are when it comes to vehicle service, and were sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations.

    After reviewing the details of your visit with the store manager, we confirmed that an estimate was provided and approved before the work was completed. The labor charge related to the transmission fluid exchange is consistent with our standard rates for that service. We are sorry if there was any misunderstanding or confusion about the scope of work or associated costs at the time of your visit, but all work that was performed on the vehicle was authorized.

    We also understand your frustration regarding the missed coupon application. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are glad that the store was able to offer two complimentary oil changes as a goodwill gesture.

    Our goal is always to provide honest, reliable serviceand we take feedback like yours seriously as we work to improve our customer experience. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to serve you.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

    i have attached both pages of the invoice you will note there is no customer signature on the invoice. I never recieved a written or verbal estimate for the work to be done.

    i would challenge the business to provide a copy of the estimate of the bill which I signed prior to the work being done or rung up on register.
