    I hired *********************** of J&S Solutions to remove an existing fence in my backyard and install a new privacy fence. As part of that project, he also proposed to do brush removal and a tree removal. The total cost was $8,900. ************** requested half of the cost up front to purchase materials. I gave him $4,450 on June 24, 2022. He estimated that he would start the project within two weeks. Throughout the summer, ************** gave one excuse after another as to why the work wasn't being done. In early September, he performed a partial fence removal. By October 15, 2022, the work still was not done. I requested a refund of my deposit and he agreed to refund my money. He has not completed any more work on my property and has not refunded any money to me. I have tried to contact him repeatedly by text, phone, and messages. He will not respond to any of my attempts to reach him. I hired an attorney to write a letter of demand for the deposit to be refunded. ************** has not responded to this letter either. I feel that ************** has engaged in fraudulent business practices. After 5 and a half months, I do not have a fence installed by J&S Solutions and I am out $4,450.
