    Booked a room online with my debit card for Jan 2-3rd. At check in I told the clerk that I'd rather pay in cash if possible. The man said it was no problem. Asked if he could cancel the card and he said yes. I paid for the night in cash. I logged into my banking account 3 days later to find that they charged on my debit card too. Spent several days calling the hotel to get it off my debit card. The only resolution from the hotel was to give me 2 free nights at the motel. Would not credit my banking account. So I got double charged for the room and will have to drive off my driving route to get the free room. Bad business! Should just look at the cameras and see that I paid in cash. I feel that I got swindled because the man did not write on the receipt that I paid cash. My mistake for trusting them.

    On October 16th my sister and I drove to Carthage mo. We had already prepaid for our rooms at the quality inn. We got there and the motel canceled our rooms and said we would get a refund since it was the motel that canceled. I have not got my money back as of November ******

    I reserved a room on 10-15-2024 for a one night stay on 10-16-2024 to check out on 10-17-2024 drove 4 hours to get to the location to be told by the night clerk that they were sorry they had to cancel our reservation due to an emergency ok fine when asked if I was getting a refund he gave me a number to call I called and they said that it had to go through the hotel I went back inside when the same *** said that his general manager said that he was personally refunding my money ok great. It has been two weeks I have submitted all information to them and they still are refusing to return my money

    I had come into town to visit my grandson who is in the ***. I opted to stay at this hotel based on their affiliation with *************. I paid for the hotel room. Once I arrived I was taken to a room that had a very bad bloodlike stench and in ************ and water dripping from the ceiling. The employee had told me there was a homicide murder that was there and there was still blood in the air conditioning unit a couple doors down. I told her under the circumstances I do not feel comfortable staying in that room and I would like to have a refund. The employee refused to give me a refund or a contact number for the manager and only gave me an email address. I emailed the owner without a response. I was charged ***** for the room and then an additional $100 for a deposit in a room that I never stayed in. I ended up getting a hotel room across town that was safe and clean without the odor of blood. I'm asking for a refund of the hundred dollars and the 78. *************************************************************************************************************** the room.

    I stayed there july 31-august 4, 2024. They charged me for july 31-august 7. Three extra days I was not there. I have contacted the motel and Customer Support for ************* but have been unsuccessful in getting a refund. They would not give me a receipt when I checked out so I didn't know what they did until I got the receipt later by contacting Customer Support.

    She was booked for 7 nights but per 7 day cancellation policy she would have need to cancel at least 7 days before or 1 night before her check in and because she did not,  it rendered the room useless for anyone else to book. No refund will be given.

    On 1/23/23 I booked a king room @ Quality Inn ***** St. Carthage MO for the night of 3/17/23 for a show (My Choice Privileges member number is JXK204520). I received confirmation number *********** via email. On 1/30/23 I was informed by the show sponsor that the hotel had been shut down due to fire code violations. On 2/3/23 I tried to cancel - I was told there was no record of my reservation. Later 2/3/23 I called and spoke to a ************* (vs. Quality Inn) representative. They found my reservation, verified the hotel had been closed and gave me cancellation a number 504368858.However on 2/19/23 my **** Bill had a $122.19 charge applied the day of BOOKING! I WAS CHARGED IN ADVANCE, cancelled the reservation and have been unable to obtain a refund on the room in a hotel that was closed down! This is not only a huge inconvenience but is grossly unfair.
