On 4/3/2023 I signed up for credit repair services with this company. I was assigned a credit agent by the name of "*******************" My initial payment for services was in the amount of $199.99 processed from my credit card (I received a family/friend discount, normal amount is $249.99). I was told the 1st round of letters would be sent out immediately once I uploaded my drivers license and utility bill into my client portal. I then received a letter from Transunion dated 4/13/2023 red flagging the communication sent to them. I uploaded the letter into my portal so that **** could review it. No one from this company ever acknowledged, responded nor provided any feedback regarding the Transunion letter. Throughout the 30+ days, I only received computer generated emails and text messages, not from an actual worker/agent. On 5/3/2023, a payment of $150.00 was processed from my credit card. On 5/9/2023, I attempted to call them at the number advertised ************ but wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. On 5/10/2023, after realizing this company was not legit and with all of the runaround I was getting, I spoke with an ******** and requested to cancel and a refund. I also asked to speak with a supervisor, "******" kept putting her phone on mute and eventually promised a supervisor would call me. Instead, "Naaz" finally called and confirmed my account was canceled but was denied any refund.

    Dear *****************************,

We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced while interacting with Bright Future Credit Solutions. We take customer feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.

Upon reviewing your account, we acknowledge that you signed up for credit repair services on 4/3/2023 with ******************* as your credit agent.

Regarding the initial payment of $199.99, we acknowledge that you received a family/friend discount, which reduced the document processing fee from $249.99. Our records indicate that the first round of letters was sent out immediately after you uploaded your driver's license and utility bill into your client portal.

Regarding the payment of $150.00 processed from your credit card on 5/3/2023, we apologize for any confusion or dissatisfaction caused. Naaz provided the payment terms were discussed and included in your signed agreement upon enrollment. The details of the program are also outlined in our Information Guide.

We regret that you had difficulty reaching us at our advertised number, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our call volume has been longer than usual, resulting in a 10-minute hold. We are actively working to improve our customer support and accessibility for our clients.

However, we understand that you spoke with ****** on 5/10/2023 to request a cancellation and a full refund. While we confirm that your account was indeed canceled, we regret that we could not provide you with a refund. We apologize for any disappointment caused by this decision.

We genuinely value your feedback and are committed to addressing the issues you raised. We appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your feedback. We remain committed to improving our processes and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

    Sincerely,
    Bright Future Credit Solutions

I am rejecting this response because: they failed to make any attempt to compromise. I believe this company advertises under false pretenses, claiming to "fix your credit" and therefore should refund me what I invested which is the full $349.99. Transunion advised well, to never pay a "credit repair company" upfront or monthly due to fraudulent activities performed by such companies as Bright Future Credit Solutions. I believe this company is operating without a business license which supports my allegations of fraud and scam. I believe this company also does not have a legal credit attorney working on behalf of consumers who sign up for credit repair services. The owner *********************** is pretending to know the credit law and is scamming consumers out of their money, claiming to provide adequate services for credit repair. I still have not received any mail as a result of the first round of letters allegedly sent out to the credit bureaus by Bright Future Credit Solutions. In all, they did nothing for me; they took a payment of $150 and did not send out any further dispute letters on my behalf. First round of letters were allegedly sent on 4/3/2023, 30 days later 2nd round of letters were to be sent but that never happened. I ultimately cancelled services on 5/10/2023, more than 30 days as a client. It says a lot that this company refuses to compromise in any way, shape, form or fashion.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************
