Purchased the Rapsodo MLM2Pro through the Rapsodo Amazon store for $700. They also charged me a $200 subscription to get the full features of the device. The simulator does not work as advertised and they are unwilling to give me a refund.Initial Complaint

On 7/21/2024 I purchased direct online from Rapsodo a mobile launch monitor. Order number RSSO-*****. The device arrived 7/26/2024. I used it for approximately 30 to 60 minutes on 7/26/2024. The next day (7/27/2024) the device would not power on. I followed troubleshooting guidance online with no resolution so per online guidance I emailed ********************************* On 7/29/2024 I received an email reply asking for a video of the issue. On 7/29/2024 I responded to the email with a video of the issue. I have never heard back despite two additional emails politely requesting resolution. I prefer a replacement unit.I have not filed a complaint with my credit card as I much prefer to just have the unit replaced.Customer Answer

Email response from Rapsodo when I inquired about selling my Rapsodo 1.0 hitting unit. My Rapsodo unit is now worthless that originally cost over $3k new. Hi ****,Thanks for reaching out. In full transparency, I would not recommend selling your Hitting 1.0 unit as the 'Rapsodo Hitting' app that Hitting 1.0 is compatible with is no longer available in the App Store. This application, along with our original Pitching 2.0 application, was discontinued in August 2023.The person who purchases the Hitting 1.0 unit from you, unfortunately, will not be able to use the device. Hitting 2.0 and PRO 3.0 are only hardware devices that are available for purchase and compatible with the Rapsodo Diamond app and our Team Membership subscription. Purchased Rapsodo Hitting 1.0 about 4 years ago for over $3000.00.******* changed its software this past August 2023. My rapsodo Hitting stopped working in ********** ******* says the 1.0 unit is not comparable with the new software upgrades. There the 1.0 unit I paid over $3000.00 for is ****************** says I will need to buy a new unit which is also $2000.00 or more because the old unit is outdated. ******* refuses to switch out 1.0 for a new unit or offer a refund. My husband did the software update that Rapsodo golf simulator device forced him to do. Upon completion the device stopped working. My husband contacted customer support on Thursday November 16th and I followed up Friday. The summation of the support was essentially deal with a broken device until we find a solution for the software update. After stating I would file with the BBB only then did the offer of a return happen. We asked for a refund of the product or a credit toward an improved product due to the fact that when we bought the device we were paying for the entire thing to work not the hardware to be okay and the software to fail without any sort of compensation. This company refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor also. Buyer BE WARE! this company conducts itself as fraudulent, does not stand by their product, and treats their customers terribly. Id never buy this again. Please choose a different company as if an issue occurs they could care less.Initial Complaint

I purchased a rapsodo **** ****** ****** ******* after being told they were going to release an update for ******* phones. This never happened and now they are launching a new device with the ability and won’t offer the ability to use ******** as promised. I have asked for a refund but haven’t heard anything. On the ******** page there are others in the same position I am so this isn’t an isolated incident. Rapsodo needs to reimburse those they lied to in order to make a sale.Business Response

We spoke with this customer and have refunded the customer for the retail value of the product as it was 3 years out of the return window. We have received the unit back and the check is being sent to him via mail. We have been in contact with **** regarding this process.
