    My mother is a resident of delmar gardens south nursing care facility. The nursing home was built in the ****s and has not been updated since. There are holes in bathroom doors , the carpets are stained and extremely worn out. There is no sanitizing stations outside patients rooms(hand sanitizer dispensers). There are no employee identification cards for them to scan for them to access medications or patient identification bracelets to scan when giving medications. Also I have caught one med tech in a car outside the building in a car with two others smoking pot and then going in and handing out meds to patients including my mother. I have seen them handle patients roughly and they did not check my mom for covid when the patients on her floor where sick with covid and did not tell us that she had been exposed to covid and when we picked her up for a week home visit she got sick and then got us sick. We brought her back early and when they tried to get her out of the car dropped her on the ground when they tried to get her off the ground they kept pulling her arms up almost pulling them out of socket . I kept demanding they call EMS and they ignored me. Finally when they got her up they where just going to take her back to her room instead of calling an ambulance to take her to the hospital. I finally insisted they call but wanted me to put her back in the car and take her. I finally demanded they call an ambulance and she ended up being in the hospital for a week. I have found p*** smeared on the bathroom floor, urine soaked clothes on her room floor. On many occasions she stays in a dirty diaper for hours and when she calls for help to go to the bathroom they hardly ever come in time to help her, so then she has to relieve herself in her diaper. They never cut her finger nails unless asked. They are extremely unprofessional when they talk to you. When mom fractured her ankle they did nothing to relieve her pain til EMS got there or called the Dr to ask to help her

    Delmar Gardens does not care about the patient. It is all about the money!
    ****** ********* said that straight up. That they are a business and will turn people away that do not provide as much money as he needs. He lies, he cheats, he steals! He is awful.
