    On 6/19/23, I was asked to pay $1340.00 to St. Luke's Surgery Center of Chesterfield for my surgery that day. I was told after it runs through my insurance, if I overpaid, I would receive a refund for the difference. Shortly after, I received the claim EOB from my insurance, which I've attached, and called billing at the surgery center. I spoke to ***** in billing on 7/11 and was told the refund of $840.00 would likely be out on 8/20/23 and to call after if I did not get it. I called on 9/19 and she said she would email someone about the status and get back to me. About ten days later, I called her when I did not hear from her and she said she was still awaiting a response but would call me as soon as she heard. I contacted St. Luke's ********** patient relations and they said they don't handle outpatient matters and forwarded my complaint back to the surgery center. Still hearing nothing, I called the office again on 11/2/23 and left a voicemail for billing stating I am still waiting for the refund and would like to speak to the office manager. I have not heard back.

    This complaint was sent to St. **************** However, the patient did not receive services at St. ****************  She received services at the St. ****** Surgery Center which is a separate entity and the hospital does not bill for that provider.  Please contact them direclty to resolve any billing issues the patient is having.  Thank you
