I called Mrs. _____ on Monday August 8th to speak with her about the issue she had when she was at our place of business on August 2nd. She informed me that her trailer had sustained some damage to the rear during the unloading of scrap material and that the gate would not shut properly. I asked her if she could bring the trailer back into the yard so that I could verify the damage. She said that would not be a problem. She was able to bring the trailer in the afternoon of August 11th. There was a piece of structural metal that was bent slightly on the right rear side of the trailer that was rubbing on the bottom of the gate and causing it to not align properly. The material on the trailer was a thin gauge metal so I was able to use a hammer to straighten out the bent area. After putting the metal back into its original position the gate was able to close properly with the latches on both side meeting and fastening like they should. I asked Miss ____ if she was satisfied with the repair to her trailer and she stated that she was.
