The leasing agent at the time *****, talked to someone and they said the rent can stay the same for 2 yrs at $1100( I do have the text messages of this) they company never sent me another lease to sign in 2024 so I cont to pay $1184 a month plus $10 to pay rent or$3.99 to pay rent each month. 10/15/2024 the company sent an out 2 options for me after I paid the rent by on 10/01/2024. Option 1- pay $1155 a months plus $84 lease til 05/2024, 2nd option- $1155 a month, + $84 a month for ************** + $75 M2M fee. I gave them a 30day notice on 10/4 . I moved on 11/02/2024. Business Response

    Date: 12/17/2024

We appreciate any opportunity to better our relationship with our residents and hope to address any concerns residents have. Please see our responses to the complaints below.

    1. Residents claim to have paid $2200 for a deposit.

Upon review, resident was only charged $1100 for the deposit and paid that upon move in.

    2. Residents claim that hey were wrongly charged for damages. Upon review, there was nothing out of the ordinary for items charged.

Residents were given a deposit disposition letter after move out which details charges which include:

5 blinds for $200, Drywall repairs above normal wear and tear for $100, 1 screen for $20, Deadbolt replacement above normal wear and tear for $60.

The disposition letter has been uploaded for review which shows a balance due to us. The main cause of the balance was due to the resident not giving proper notice to vacate as agreed by the lease. Resident only provide 30 days of notice whereas the lease requires residents give 60 days notice. Since resident did not provide the proper notice, November rent was charged. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the the move out has caused but do not feel that we have done anything wrong to warrant a complaint. Please feel free to contact us if you think there is anything wrong with what is being stated here. In conclusion, we believe this complaint should be dismissed and not counted against us.

I have attached a copy of the video of the home when I left the property. I did not have a signed lease with the company in the year of 2023. I gave them a 30 day notice due to the fact the company breached the contract. The rent will stay the same for the next 2 years. I will upload text messages also of this agreement they never sent a lease and when I was looking for another place to stay they tried to raise the rent to $1359! I do not accept this company responses. No dry wall was damaged there was on 3 blinds messed up . The lease agent said the house was in good shape when we did the walk thru these people are thieves and liars!

I have been paying my rent on time while I have been in this house since 2010. In 2021, I was in the hospital. The housing authority came into the house to inspect it, and it didn&#**;t pass. Section 8 stopped paying the rent due to the house not passing inspection in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The landlord called to have some work on the house, but it still didn&#**;t pass inspection. I called my cousin this last year to help fix up the house. It passed inspection in January. They told me I would have to pay $300 to stay in my house. The rental company went to Section 8 and said I owe $900. Section 8 said, "Ms. Williams&#**; rent has never been $300. It is $109." I should be receiving money back instead money back. The owner of the house is now confused, and he thinks I owe $7000. His assistant talked and explained it to him, and she told me he understands now. He now knows it is the housing authority that did not pay him. All this stress is causing health issues for me. They keep threatening me that they will make me move.
