This college states I owe them money and will not release my official transcripts. My student account clearly states a zero balance. I have been back and forth with them, and they refuse to release. I just want my transcripts at this point.

      Business Response

      Date: 08/19/2022

      Thank
you very much for bringing this to our attention. The College takes
student concerns seriously and is appreciative for the opportunity to
respond.  Although student privacy laws prevent us from discussing
the specific details of this student’s situation in this forum, as a
general matter, the College’s policy and practice is to provide transcripts
to students who do not have an outstanding balance owed to the
College.  If a student has an outstanding balance owed to the
College, the student must first satisfy the balance before the transcripts
will be released.  This approach is consistent with standard
practices in higher education.  The College
encourages the former student to contact the College directly to discuss
outstanding balances, if any, and transcripts.
