    We purchased carpet that the installer indicated would not work for our home at *************************. We had ordered the carpet but not received delivery. Initially, we were told there would be a restocking fee but it was agree that if we purchased tile instead no restocking fee would be applied. We received a bill indicating our balance was fully paid. We have since interacted on several occasions with the sales associate regarding the possibility of buying other tile and at no point was the restocking fee ever mentioned again. The tile was ordered January 9th, 2025. We are now receiving a bill for $ ******** for an unpaid restocking fee that was never present on any of the other bills after we were guaranteed that this would not be required if the tile was purchased at this store. This balance should be eliminated per the agreement.

    Mr and Mrs ********** I am writing to let you know that the billing you received was in error by our company. The costs that were charged you were internal costs of the return of the carpet by our manufacturer and should not have been passed along to you. I'm sorry if you tried to contact the store and did not get this response as you should of been directed to either *** or myself and we would of quickly have noticed this billing error. Please find attached a receipt showing the account paid in full.  We do value your business and are sorry that this was billed in error if you have any question feel free to reach out to me either by phone ************ or email *********************************************************************************.
