    *** ****** gave me a proposal 6/26/21. I paid $22,000. He begin doing work on my foundation in July 2021 but he never finished. He put in steel beams, dug out the outside front and back, installed new drain tiles at the bottom of the footing front and back, chipped out the cracks front and back outside and injected epoxy to fill the cracks, covered the cracks with the concrete glue mix, resealed front and back with foundation coating and sealer, and back filled all the dirt front and back. He didn't come back to do the outside grading until several months later. He said he was going to come back in the fall, but didn't come until the spring of 2022. Whenever there is a heavy rain it leaks. He said he would come back on different occasions but hasn't. He most recently said he would finish the first week of July 2023 but has not come back.

    I didn't have the manpower to get over there.  I was working in Mexico.  I told her I would get over there.  I will get over there and fix that, it will probably be a week or so.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The work on my foundation was done (not completed, but worked on) two years ago in July of 2021.  My basement has been leaking ever since.  *** ****** originally said he would grade the land around the foundation in the Fall of 2021, but he did not come to do it until the Spring of 2022.  Even after he graded the dirt around the foundation, the basement continued to leak. 

    I have contacted him numerous times - at least once a month - with photos of water in my basement after a rain, and each time he said he was out of town and would come and deal with the leak when he gets back in town.  He never did.  Not one time in a year and a half. 

    He did come last Summer (2022) to repair a water line that he snagged in the original foundation work two years ago, but that had nothing to do with the foundation leak.  It DID cost me months of a huge water bill.  AND the water line repair is now only guaranteed for 5 years, and I never had an issue with it before he carelessly snagged it when digging out the front foundation. (he also damaged my gutters when using the backhoe...another huge headache)

    So now when he says he is out of town and will come and "fix that in a week or so", that is not an acceptable response at all.  That is what he has been telling me for a year and a half!  In the meantime, I have held off on landscaping my yard front and back, and I have had to wet vac the basement every time it rains hard enough, which is way too often.  It's a really discouraging way to start my day after a night of rain, especially when Mr. Dorman will not take responsibility for an unfinished job.  All of this dissatisfaction for $22,000, the cost of the foundation work.  

    So no, when he says he will "fix that" in "a week or so", I vehemently reject that response.  I want him to give me an exact date or dates when he will do the work.  I want to be here when he comes to do the work.  He is NOT invited to my property without me being here.  Otherwise, he is trespassing.  I also want to know exactly what he plans to do to fix the problem.  Furthermore, I want to know what he plans to do if that doesn't work.  On the form he gave me two years ago, it said the work is guaranteed for five years, but since the job was never satisfactorily completed in the first place, the clock has not started on the guarantee.  I may be willing to negotiate that part.  I want everything in writing before he does the work.

    I was kind and understanding and patient with *** ****** when he did the work (and damaged my home in the process) 2 years ago, and patient for the past year and a half, but I have run out of patience.

    He has been telling me a year and a half that he will be over.  I don't want him texting me.  I feel that he is trying to wiggle out of this.  I'm very frustrated with this.  He is not asking me and not putting anything in writing about what he is going to do for me.  I want everything put in writing.
