    I booked a room on 10/3/2024 via *******. When I got to the hotel on 10/3, they asked for a cc for incidentals. I turned my keys in early on 10/4, and they charged me room I already paid for. I called and she first said, I didnt turn in my keys but shed check the tape/cameras. I told her the exact time and clothes I was wearing when I checked out. Then she called back and Changed her story to I left my stuff/suitcase in my room. I said impossible as I checked in and out with clothes on my back, and funeral clothes on a hanger. I had absolutely no luggage. I asked if she saw me on the camera footage and she refused to answer. She got snippy and She said to fight the charge with my cc. I tried and they never got back to them and the case was closed by my cc company, keeping both charges on my bill. I then wrote the hotel for a refund providing them with my Expedia charge and showing I was back in **** that night with a charge from my local ******. They now refuse to talk to me and did not refund my money. I am upset that they know they are in the wrong and have stolen from me

    Tell us why here...As the owner of this hotel I have consulted with my general manager who runs this property regarding this complaint. She provided me with the information attached showing that ********** was in fact refunded in the amount of $73.47 on the 05th day of December 2024 on the **** ending in 3445 that was provided for incidental purposes .

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

    there is no refund that has posted yet to my credit card, and I just checked it online. I understand that doesnt mean they didnt do it and it hasnt posted to my account yet, which would be rare since its been awhile since Dec 5th.  However the documentation provided and attached does not show anything about providing a refund/that a refund was given
