      First off Shelter used to be a great company, but apparently they forgot a few things that made them the size they are today! Several years back I was involved in an accident, a person rearended me in another state, the claims department said they dont do coverage in that state, I said that state isn't my permanent residence so what is the issue? I took videos after the accident of the person that hit me with ice on there windshield that definitely obstructed his view, tried to get a police statement but since it wasn't on a public street that wasn't available. So I am talking back and forth with the adjuster when she tells me its clearly my fault, I asked her how she came to this conclusion ( since I have these videos of the icy windshield and his tire tracks on the wrong side of the 2 way private street of a parking lot) the adjuster got mad, and basically stopped talking to me, I finally got a supervisor phone number from my agent and called them. This supervisor told me they would investigate the accident, do you know I've never been asked to see my videos and I have asked to see what the independent adjuster said ( especially since they never contacted me) I've never been granted access to this investigation but it was ruled that I was at fault ( they make more money, how convenient). Now I've noticed in the last year their bills that used to be consistent, you received a statement and you knew what they were going to withdraw from your account, are not consistent at all and the premiums keep raising even on vehicles they know are not running or licensed. Shelter you used to be better than this, I know because several family members were your first ***********
