*** and his associate from Merebrook Land Surveying just completed a job for me. These men were truly professionals. Their work was timely, thorough and the charges for the work performed in my opinion was reasonable. I would recommend Merebrook Land Surveying to anyone needing land surveying services.

When I needed our property line surveyed due to an encroachment; I didn't have recommendations from anybody I knew. Therefore I selected Merebrook Land Survey at random, however working with Merebrook was the best a decision I made. Merebrook listened to my needs and concerns and submitted a proposal which fit my budget and timeline. Their work exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their service to anybody needing land survey services. Thanks again, it's comforting to know exactly where our boundaries are located and at a reasonable price. **************

Do not recommend. Very disappointed in his service and overall demeanor. Did not know upfront the county rules and regulations that would impact land sales between my neighbors and me. Promised many things and delivered on nothing!

I regret that the situation worked out the way that it did. I made it clear before any work was begun, that what the client was trying to do was subject to the approval by County Planning and that the County may approve some, none, or all of what we were trying to do. I also advised that the County could deny approvals right up to the point where new deeds were recorded, and to have a backup plan in case this happened. This advice was also repeated at several meetings with the client and with others present. The project consisted of two major components. Transferring a large parcel to a neighbor required creating a one lot subdivision. This met the Countys requirements and was in the process of being approved. The client stopped the subdivision process of their own accord, stating that they were refusing to give the County the required additional road right-of-way and utility easements. The client was informed that these would be required at the start of the project. The second major component of the project was an attempt to transfer small parcels to adjoining lot owners. This was to increase the size of the properties owned by the neighbors. After a long stretch of poor communication with the County, County approval was denied for these. A work-around was proposed, but the client did not want to commit to anything that would place restrictions on the properties. In the two weeks, the client has attempted to continue the one lot subdivision after being pressured by the family that was promised the one lot. In the last week, the client has asked for additional work to be done on the one lot subdivision in a way that could be problematic in getting the approvals from the County due to required public meeting notifications, and at this point, the client owes substantial money for work performed on a project that was stopped due to circumstances beyond my control. If additional details regarding this situation are desired, feel free to contact me.***************, PLS Managing Member Merebrook LLC

Merebrook took on my project after two other surveyors had deemed it impossible and refused to even bid on it. It took longer than originally planned, but they never gave up and were successful in the end. They even stood by their original quote, and didn't charge extra for the extra work they had to put in. I hope I never have a project that complicated again, but if I do, I'll go straight back to Merebrook with it.
