      I had bought a loveseat and couch from Cleek’s. I also pay for insurance on said items. It was told to me when I purchased said items that if they got broken from anything, they would send someone out to look at it and get it fixed. They came out and looked at it and said a lady from Sedalia, Mo would call to set up a day and time to get them fixed. My husband went into the business and told them that nobody showed up. They said someone would be out Saturday. It’s now a week later and nothing has still yet to be done. The couch was broken now it’s broke worse and now the loveseat is broke and has a spring popping up. And I have a child so I feel like it’s not safe to be setting there broke. If I can’t get this matter resolved then Cleek’s won’t receive a payment next month or until it fixed properly. Thanks!

      I became aware of this complaint on Satureday, January 21, 2023 and immediately took action by calling my store to get the details.  My General Manager indicated to me that we had parts ordered to repair this living room group.  I instructed her that since this account was so new, although the furniture was used, that I would order a brand new living room group of the same model number to replace it.  I have done so and the furniture should be at our store within the next 2 weeks.  Our store also spoke with Ms. ******* and according to our store she really didn't have any major issues with what was happening, but her husband was not pleased and I guess is who prompted the BBB complaint.  I personally feel that the proper action has been taken with a new replacement on order and this situation should be resolved very soon.  

      Ms. ******* also made a ******** post as a comment to another customer of ours, Ms. ******, in which she said that we had cheaply made furniture and that people would be better off going to *** in Sedalia.  We do not make any of our furniture as we are a retailer, but we carry primarily ****** ********* which is the #1 brand in the US and we stand behind our products.  Considering that we are acting in good faith and responding quickly to this issue with a new replacement, I did not really appreciate this comment being made but I can't control what she says.

      We will take care of this matter and do our best to make sure that Ms. ******* is satisfied.  As you know, we have an A+ rating with the BBB and we take every complaint seriously and do our best to respond in a swift and timely manner.  Probably a big reason why we've been in business for 67 years and have satisfied thousands of customers.
