      Super shady! Be very careful when using this company! My daughter recently had a unit here. When she moved her things out and completely vacated the unit (11/19), she called me to make the final payment. She notified them at that time that she was emptying the unit out, and the movers were standing there with her. They told her to leave the door open once they were done, which she did. Last month and this month, I noticed two charges on my account for $254.92. Theyre claiming she was still using the unit, because there was a lock on it. However, she didnt place the lock on the unit. She left the door open, so someone there had to have placed the lock on the unit. After calling and explaining the problem, they requested my daughter email them giving them permission to remove the lock, which she did. However, theyre refusing to issue a refund even though they know it was vacated on 11/19 and has been empty ever since. Im sure they have cameras and could check if they needed proof. This behavior is so shady! Im disputing the charges with my bank. If you ***************** here, be sure to ask for paperwork or proof indicating youve emptied your unit it once you move out; and verify they will no longer charge your credit card! I never gave them permission to continue charging my card. I used a link to make a one time payment, and they stored my card in their files and continued billing me.

      I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Storage Mart is the worst business with which I have ever had the misfortune to deal. My unit was involved in a sewer pipe burst in May 2022. I was not informed--for some unknown reason no one could name. I came upon the mess of water damage, mold growth & toxic sewer water in Nov. 2022--the company was not forthcoming with the incident and left me to clean the mess on my own. In an attempt to get proper information, clean up, and compensation--I escalated to upper management. They went through the motions of offering to take some responsibility by having me fill out a claim that local and regional management would work on. The claim was denied by a corporate officer, who first claimed that since Storage Mart bought Manhattan mini storage in Dec 2021, my lease was technically not in their purview! I was treated only with apathy and contempt...and they took my monthly for 6 months while my belongings were sitting in NYC sewer water. A nightmare of a company with no regard for their customers run by a completely incompetent crew who do not 1. Care about your property, 2. Care about your health 3. Care about their business, as customer service and risk management seems to mean nothing to them. Happy Holidays.

      Stored my items there and within a month my unit was broken into through a neighbouring unit. Company doesnt care about its customers. Strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

      After a few months of my belongings being stored at Storage
      Mart located at *** * ****** ** ******** ** *****. I storage was
      increased without any notification. When I talked the site manager about
      my concern he started talking in circles. I asked to speak to his
      manager he gave me ***** ********* email address so I emailed him. The
      jerk never emailed me back. Storage Mart's game plan is simple. When you
      store your belongings with them they jack your rate up with out
      notification. Do not store your belongings at Storage Mart located at
      *** * ****** ** ******** ** *****, unless you want to be ripped off.

      Storage Mart for me has been truly very terrible...like a real freaking NIGHTMARE when it comes to paying my monthly bill online. I'm convinced there is some type of glitch BLOCKING your/my payments online on their website. This means that you could end up paying storage mart a late fee on top of your monthly rent...even if you did & tried your very best to pay them early on the 1st of the month or at least before the third of each month. Also, because their website is so very glitchy, this means that you spend your free time or work time calling them ** in person over the phone to try & solve how to pay your monthly storage rent. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE Company at all! NOT AT ALL! ?? The manager seems to be very unprofessional and he never ever returns your voicemail messages to him...as though they don't seriously need your business anyway. Going back a few months ago, I was having the same exact online payment glitches & I ended up paying them a late fee & one or 2 other ********* wasn't truly my fault that I couldn't post or process my payments online to them. They wanted to blame my bank today; but I'm pretty sure it's not my bank's fault at all because I've had the same terrible problem with them before going back to March of 2022. ?? I wish I could rate them ZERO stars, but I can't.??

      Total disappointment!I am so disappointed of the careless customer service. I picked a unit online. Received a phone call later on letting me know the elevator in the location I picked in ************** was broken. And the unit was a third floor. I compromise with an outside unit and then was told for me to move during the weekend had 15 minutes to get there before their office closed. I cancelled my reservation. First thing this morning received a call letting me know they can not refund me the administration fee. $30 that in this economy and me being a disabled veteran don't appreciate you stealing it from me. And I said stealing because you have no reason to keep my money when you rendered no services to me. I am truly upset. And will not recommend anyone to do business with your company EVER!

      Disgusting Company. I got sick and was in the hospital I
      left a message to the Laval Quebec office as that is where my storage is
      and explained I’m self employed and currently in the hospital please do
      not worry I will take care of my 2 months of rent end of July. No one
      called me back and on July 15 I got a resister letter stating they broke
      my lock entered my storage and charged me $200 over the amount of my
      rental. They are beyond disgusting that during difficult times they
      treat people this way especially since I left a message end of June
      explaining my situation. I really do not recommend this storage company.
      They also constantly increase their prices. I am disgusted
