Nice guy at first, but after trying to get my cart corrected for over four months of back and fourth and back in the shop over a battery. All because they refused to take it back to ******* ********** and have them test it. Now mind you, I went through four months of lies. In the end they even told me they did take it to ******* ********** and it was fine. I called them out, and asked which Battery Outfitter they took it to so I could call them.... Low and behold there conscience kicked in. They said they lied and did not take it there to get it tested. So later they took to ******* ********** and boom, it was a bad battery. If you like being lied to, this is the place to go. They put in another battery.., again the cart would not start. Had to get another mechanic to come to my house and look at it. It was discovered the battery cables were on the wrong poles. Lucky it did not blow up? This is the second new battery they installed. With months of blowing me off as they thought it was just me. I called a real mechanic to look at it, and he was just as dumbfounded as I. So, I asked **** ****** to do the Right Thing. I want a new name brand battery. I do not know if the battery they installed incorrectly was compromised since it was not installed properly, changed polarity. I just want a new battery, no excuses, no discussions, no looking into it, and I would go away. I will even install it. Eazy Peazy. but no. Now, **** has to hand it off to his partner to get involved. Over a 150 dollar battery. I also had a clutch and accelerating cable installed by Caddy Shack. That also had to go back to them to adjust. My new mechanic seen the accelerating cable was not properly tied down, as it was resting on my exhaust. Glad that was caught too. **** has handed this off to his partner now instead of getting me another new battery. The excuse is, so I do not have to deal with him anymore. Absolute, joke!!

On 10/24.22 we sent an estimate to the customer to evaluate and diagnose issues with how his golf cart is running. This included a battery, throttle cable, and clutch assembly. Once the work was completed, we invited him to come to the dealership and drive it to make sure it was right. 5 months went by and in early March 2023, he called again stating his battery was not charging. We went to his house and the cart ran as soon as the gas pedal was pressed so it was driven around his subdivision. He told us he is a mechanic and thought there was something wrong with the battery. We took his battery back to the shop, charged it and did a load test. It tested fine so we did not take it to ******* **********. He WAS told we had though. He was adamant about getting it tested there so it was taken and discovered that the battery was, in fact, bad. So we apologized profusely, admitted we were wrong, and re-installed a new battery. He did not come out of the house to observe or interact at this time. After another 6 weeks, April 27, he sent a message demanding a particular battery and threatening that he will "go another avenue to make himself whole" if we don't do the right thing. At that point, it was decided to pass this off to a business partner, ONLY to get the most qualified person to close the issue. The customer is "whole" and told us he was satisfied yet seems to be on a mission to slander our business regardless. This is a one-off situation and we have communicated within our team how to prevent this kind of issue in the future. We had 3-4 interactions with him over this entire time period. Did we make some mistakes? Yes. Did we make the customer whole again? Yes. We also learned valuable lessons and will continue to improve.

1.) When the work was completed they dropped the cart off at my house. After a couple of weeks I called them and stated it did not seem to be running at speed and if they could adjust the cable. They came back out and picked it up and made adjustments, then called me to come and take it for a ride. They make it seem, as if they asked me to come up and try it out the day it was finished. Did not happen.2.) During the five months I called several times that my battery kept dying. They say they only had 3 - 5 interactions with me, but it is more like 12 - 15 interactions. I have the phone records of all my calls to prove it! They make it sound like I did not say anything for 5 months. I would call, they tell me to charge it, so I would , and it would run for a few then die. I called almost twice a month. They put a brake pad on to bypass the parking brake on one occasion because it was thought the brake light was staying on and draining the battery. Then another time they let it sit for two weeks to see if there was a drain happening. Then another time they came out and pulled the battery and tested it and charged it. That is why I was adamant about them finally taking it to Battery Outfitters to test it. Since there testing method was not identifying the problem. 3.) Yes, 6 weeks out from putting in a new battery for me, it died again. The cables were installed on the wrong poles, I have a picture of that too. Not sure if this hurt the battery or not, but I wanted a new name brand battery that wasn't crossed wired. These are all winter months too, and I do not drive the cart like a daily driving automobile. C'mon man!
