    Cape Small Animal Clinic please share so others dont have to go through what were going through EDIT: id like to add that not a single employee at *************************** has reached out to us, despite being made aware of the situations end result to give condolences or apologize for their negligence. weve used cape small for the past year and a half or so for all of our pets. our german ********, *** presented with symptoms of bloat or twisted stomach on 1/28/25 around 9pm. we called the after hours line to be connected to the on-call vet which was dr. ******* dr ****** advised us to give her a ****** and that she could not see her that night despite being the on-call vet and that she could see her in the morning. *** was an established patient at ***************************, despite having tried to get her into another after hours vet clinic, *** unfortunately passed away at around 1:30am on 1/29/24 on our way to an ER in ***. i truly believe that maybe if she had been able to be seen by an emergency vet when we initially called she may still be with us. i do NOT recommend cape small for any after-hours emergencies. please be advised when choosing them for your vet, that they may refuse care during an emergency despite having an after hours line, an on call vet and being an established client.
