On 09/12/2022 ********************* (K&L Mobile Home Service) agreed to move my mobile home from *********, ** to *****************. He agreed to do this by or around 11/12/2022 for a total of $3000. I gave him $1000 cash down and was going to pay the remaining $2000 after my home was moved. ************* never attempted to move my home... He wouldn't stay in touch with me, I always had to call him and he would always say "it's to wet to move the mobile home." In April 2023 it became apparent that ************* had no intentions of keeping his agreement with me so I finally asked for a refund of $1000 which ************** agreed to do but again he never contacted me, I had to do all the contacting. I finally sent a certified letter to ************** asking him to contact me by May 18, 2023 for my refund or I would start legal action. ************* called me on May 18, ******************************* a check and he wondered why I never cashed it.. I informed ************* that I never received a check. He said that he would have his accountant write me another check. I asked ************** to have it sent certified or I could meet his accountant to pick the check up. ************* agreed and said that he would call me that evening but I never heard from him. I called him and there was no answer. To this day I have not heard back from *************, have not received a refund and my home as not been moved. I would like my $1000 back from ************** immediately or I am still willing to pay him the other $2000 to move my mobile home immediately. If not I will have to proceed to small claims court.
