    On December 31 I had put a money order in the amount of $70 in the mail. I dropped it off at the **** ****** in Festus Mo. Budget Self Storage in Pevely should have received it, but they had told me they never received it. I have my proof that I have the dated money order of $70 for December 30th. Today would mark 2 weeks and they said they still haven't received the money order. Pevely won't let me drop off a new money order to them. They told me I have to put it in the mail only. They refuse to let anyone make any payments online. I had to make a phone call to the **** ****** to find out what happened to the money order. They put in a service request. I now had to get a second money order for the amount of $70 once again because Pevely had locked my stuff up and is now threatening to sell everything in there to other people. They don't care that they are hurting people. They only care about money. I don't know what happened to the first money order they **** ****** is trying to look into it. I'm going to end up having to use priority mail for this second money order. It's not the first time this has happened either. I plan on sending them the second money order and find a way to get my stuff out of their storage unit. I am getting sick and tired of the way the treat people and taking advantage of people. They act like it's my fault we have bad weather, holidays etc. The **** ****** is trying to find out what happened to the money order. They told me they're not sure but will look into it. Walmart told me they can't look into it. I bought my money order from Walmart. I was told because there's no tracking number, they can't track anything. I called the number on the receipt, and it said I had to pay $30 to find the money order. I don't have any more money to give out to people. All of this should have been done by now. Pevely locked everything up and is threatening to sell all my belongings if they don't get another money order within 10 days from there last text.

    WE HAVE ENTERED EVERY MONEY ORDER WE RECEIVED AND HER ACCOUNT IS CURRENT AS OF NOW SHE SENT US A MONEY ORDER ON 1/15/2024 AND ANOTHER ON 1/19/2024 WE HAVE CREDITED HER ACCOUNT WITH BOTH AND HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION AGAINST HER... ALSO WE DO HAVE A 24 HOUR DROP BOX ON THE PROPERTY FOR ANYONE TO DROP OFF PAYMENTS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MAIL A PAYMENT ...AS PER OUR CONTRACT THE PAYMENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AUTOMATICALLY PAID BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD BUT HER CARDS DID NOT CLEAR SO WE ALLOWED HER TO PAY BY MONEY ORDER THANK YOU.

    SHE HAS NOT INFORMED US IF ONE OF THE MONEY ORDERS WE RECEIVED IS ONE OF THE ONES SHE THOUGHT WAS LOST BY THE **** ****** OR NOT OR IF IT WAS LOST AND REPLACED ... AS WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER A PAYMENT GETTING TO US BY MAIL OR NOT .   THAT IS WHY WE ALSO HAVE THE 24 HOUR DROP BOX ... THANKS AGAIN
