  I met *** one of the owners of St. Louis Residential Roofing when he stopped by our neighbors house to make sure the roof they had installed for them last fall survived the recent hail storm, It had. *** took a look at our 4 year old roof and confirmed it did need to be replaced due to damage from the recent hail storm. He offered to come back when our insurance company's accessor came by to make sure they didn't miss anything, which he did. He then corresponded with our insurance company and provided them information resulting in them agreeing to cover more than they originally offered. We also have damage to our windows and siding and ultimately decided to go with a company that could take care off all of our issues vs. just the roof. Although we didn't end up hiring St. Louis Residential Roofing, my experience with *** was nothing but positive. He was very understanding about my decision to hire one company to do all the work. I offered to pay him a consulting fee for the time he had invested which he refused to take. Based upon the experience my neighbors had and my personal experience with ***, I would not hesitate to recommend his company and would have certainly used them if they could have handled all of our issues.

  We initially contacted SRR for gutter and facia replacment. They came out and determined we had hail damage on our roof and suggested we contact our insurance company . We got a claim and when we requested the proposal for the gutters and facia, SRR told us they would not do the gutters and downspouts, and facia. They said they wanted to stick to the business they were set up for and only wanted to do the roofing. By the time I was ready to decide what to do I had other bids that were willing to do all the roofing work necessary to resolve all our problems, SRR ended up costing us about a month in time deliberating on how they could attempt to provide me with numberous sub-contractors and options to... not have them do all the work necessary. The day I reached out to get a final take on my proposal I was told that they did not want my job and were moving on. This was a very non professional experience and I am very disapointed and upset about being led on, then dropped. I ended up getting the feel these guys were storm chasers and only wanted a guaranteed insurance payout and did not want to do the real difficult work.
