      I getting medicine qty of (90) pills a month. Granddaughter continue to write out the wrong prescription. I felt the Doctor became very upset and treated me unprofessional,

      The patient is on a controlled substance from our office. We do random drug screens throughout the year on all patients on a controlled substance to ensure they are taking as prescribed. The patient received a drug screen on 5/8/24. The controlled medication was not found in the patients system. The patient returned for a visit on 7/10/24 and all medications were refilled but she was told that we would no longer be prescribing her controlled medication as it was not in her system. The patient became very angry and started yelling and cussing in the room. I then asked the patient to stop screaming and using the * word as their were multiple customers, including children, in surrounding rooms. She then left the office slamming the door so hard that we had to have maintenance come work on the door handle. This was witnessed by employees as well as other customers. We also have the drug screen and office notes that we can submit if needed. 

      As for the amount of the medication, the patient has not been getting 90 tablets since 6/9/23, so over a year. She was weaned to 75 and then 60 and has been getting 60 tablets since August of 2023. We have documentation to show all of this if needed. Please let me know if there is anything else that you need.
