I purchased a used car from this company, that would not even pass state inspections. I drove the car off the lot, stopped for gas, and found the first issue, the back seat was broken. I text the business, and was told to bring it by to have it looked at later. Started driving home, and figured out the air was not working, and the tire sensor light came on, got to town, and found out the horn was not working, and text them again that something that has to pass state inspections was not working. This is when the business started getting testy and rude. I asked how it passed inspection without a working horn, and was told it did not need inspected. I asked for an inspection from them, and was told he would not give me one because the horn does not work. I took the car to another shop and was told the ** compressor was out and that the transmission fluid was sludgy, and they noted it. The business then got really pissy and said that they gave me a great deal on the car and even waxed it for me(in text). After a long stream of text messages with the son, the dad got involved, and claimed he would get things fixed for me. I took the car back to them, and they said the transmission fluid was not sludgy, but it probably needs to be changed, and said that the ** needed a different part, and they went ahead and put that part in which did not fix it. Finally, after them having the vehicle for over a week and not getting anything fixed, they said that I could get a different vehicle, that was another lie. The business told me in text messages they would fix it, which according to the E-Sign Act, a text message can be a unilateral or bilateral contract. They legally told me in a text message they would fix it. Furthermore, they tried fixing my seat, and they actually damaged it more, and now it has no power. They finally said because I was complaining so much they were not fixing anything or doing business with me, so canceled the text message agreements.

    To Whom This May Concern,

Our dealership has tried to help the customer multiple times.  We tried to get him in another vehicle he was fine with this and then declined. When he came to the lot the first day, he test drove every vehicle on our lot the day he came to test drive a different vehicle originally. This unit he picked was not ready for sale and was insistent this is the vehicle he wanted to purchase. He came with a story stating he sued another dealership out of state and had to have a vehicle quickly so he could have a vehicle again as he had to return the other car. Seems as if he makes a habit of this from what research we have done. We told him that day we would need to do things to the vehicle prior to taking it from the lot. Gov. ********************* signed Senate Bill 89 into law, a wide-ranging bill including a provision that will require inspections for vehicles more than 10 years old or with more than ******* miles. The customer signed a "as is" document and declined an extended warranty. He was given the vehicle several thousand under what planned asking was to compensate issues w the vehicle. We offered to fix the issues he had to an extent but he rushed all work. He bought a used vehicle, even new vehicles have issues. He reports the horn didn't work but was able to fix this with a fuse, fuses can fail at anytime.  Transmissions require servicing by changing fluids and filters this is a suggested maintenance not required maintenance to sell a vehicle. An ** compressor is not required to sell a vehicle in the state of ** either. The ** worked.  Personally I have bought a vehicle w a failed ** compressor I didn't purchases a warranty and ate the cost of the parts / labor. He is unruly, he comes in with a hostile attitude then he would send my son a message telling him he is "cute." We chose to stop dealing with the customer because he is happy one second and then the next he is yelling. We offered to purchase parts and do repairs at cost he agreed to this and then the next day would change his mind. Its been my experience in many years of business we are going to do nothing to make this customer happy, this is when we decided to discontinue contact with the customer.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:  they straight up lied!  They sold a vehicle that would not pass state inspections, with unsafe conditions!  Furthermore, I have never sued anyone over a car anytime in my whole life.  I have numerous text messages also outlining how they are lying.   I also have numerous witnesses that can testify to their lies.

    Sincerely,
