Grossly unprofessional at best and fraudulent at worst. I paid a $500 deposit in October 2022 for a male puppy with a black coat. I was texted today Nov 15th that the puppy I requested is not available. I asked for my deposit back and after a strange response about how I shouldn't be rash she agreed to return it but did not say when. Bizarre I would be accused of being rash when she is the one who just out of the blue announces she is shutting down her business and selling her house! Not exactly decisions that are made without significant planning and if she was shutting down her business and selling her home why on earth was she taking customers deposits???? I asked what any reasonable person would ask. Do you have a timeline of when the deposit will be returned. I was given an even sketchier response that she is stressed and she "won't steal from me. Promise" what on earth?? You are not my sister or family member we are in a business relationship it is not appropriate or professional to 1)shut down your business when people have deposits for puppies from you 2) tell a customer you don't have a timeline of when "the check will be in the mail" because you're stressed about selling your house 3) refuse to send the money back via *** *** as it was delivered... a large red flag that she has cashed the deposit and perhaps is no longer credible in paying customers back. 4) accuse me of threatening her when she is the one that appears to be shutting down her business and skipping town. Again grossly unprofessional or a fraud. No. Customers are not going to "trust" you that you wont steal from them because you "promise" when there are SO MANY red flags in just a couple straight forward questions on when the $500 deposit will be refunded and why it cannot be refunded via *** *** as it was delivered to you per your request. The business owner asked that I send the deposit via "friends & family" after looking into this I saw that this is a trick scammers use on *******
