Im mind boggled that **** THE OWNER in todays unlimited technology has no way to retrieve his camera footage nor show proof of his failure track a package?   When I offered To come to store or email with my Amazon page & documents he said Not necessary, I Believe you. But has taken no action to make it right from the start.  They have ways to pull the info from the system **** at *** but they dont want to. With todays computers it can be tracked what they did.
Answering Brads remarks:  1)Yes it was $99 for item that I tried to send info to you. (Included in pictures I have more but it wont let attach more. 2) **** knows they failed to scan item but took my credit card payment for the item label they printed & item. Its on credit card statement $2 fee. (Per pictures)  that is a legal receipt proof. I returned 5 items that day & took for granted it was on the handed receipts. But since you took my item & charged me for that label that the customer NEVER touches & proof receipt on my credit card for the label printed (also in pictures) that he said yes that label is for that item -Camera but he states they DID NOT SCAN IT. Brads words.  3) Yes I said I cleaned my truck & tossed the receipts for other items is irrelevant as they where the items *** actually returned. 4) Yes I explained it  is in a nice sized brief case it comes in very hard to miss this item  as seen in pictures attached. 5)   False 99%of all items if taken to *** store does not have to be boxed. ****** states this when doing return. Picture as proof attached. If taken to drop off a label/box is always needed. The other items that day where all in form of QR codes where they scan your code on phone. (No box or label needed) But he wont tell you that. 6) I gave tracking number for label given by *******Again **** said, Yes that label is for the camera but they did not scan it after they took the item???( Picture is attached)  7) Yes **** check your system it was the on item I needed a label for that day. Again all other items where QR code only no box or label needed. It is for Only that item you know. Also picture attached credit card statement. There are group numbers on that charge Im sure correlate to item/charge. 8) The receipt **** is on credit card proof. Thank god you charge for labels otherwise you would get away with it.  9) Drop off receipt? You took my item, charged me for the label- its on my credit card proof.  Please take responsibility. Call ****** and check the items too feel free. I have more attachments too next message if I can attach more thank you

    Business Response

I have spoken to ***** about this when he called in.  ***** did as for the cameras to be reviewed, I explained to him that since he was in on 2/25/2025 and it was now 4/23/25 that there was no camera footage from that long ago.  I was told by ***** that the return was worth $99.00.  I asked for a copy of the receipt that is given once the packages are scanned in.  To which he replied that he cleaned out his truck and does not have it.  ***** states that the item was a in "black brief case".  However in order to do an amazon return the item needs to be in a box.  If the item is not boxed then the customer would be charged for a box.  He did inform me that he found a $2.00 charge for a label to be printed.  There is no was of telling if that $2.00 was for this item or something else, since the customer states that he had 5 other returns that day.  As I have explained to ***** there is nothing more that I can do without a receipt.  If a drop off reciept can be found then we can look into this further.

    Business Response

To answer ******* response.  There is no way to track a package or pull any information for any system if the label is not in the system such as the label that ***** has referenced.  2) I do see the charge for the $2 .  As stated in the response I have know way of knowing if that was for this item or any of the other 4 items that you had brought in.  3)  The receipt that you have thrown out would have included all the items that were returned on that day and a reference number on it for us to research. 4) The item would have had to have been put into a shipping box.  The label that you have included as a picture is a shipping label, thus meaning a shipping box would have been needed to send the item back.  5) This is an incorrect statement, 50% of Amazon returns are "no box, no label", the others require it to be packed by the customer.  I have no clue what the other items were that you brought in that day since there is no receipt.   8) No one is trying to get away with anything.  As I have explained, this is from February, there is nothing I can do to further investigate this matter without the actual drop off receipt from that day.  In the pictures that you have included, ****** has even explained that since more than 30 days have passed there is no further assistance.
