In March I call them to find out abound shower doors. I decided the purchase shower doors after meeting the sales person by the ****. I decided to do showers doors and base of the shower-(tub part) . I was advise it would take about two weeks to get everything done. I notice they had left a white powder all over bedroom. I was so upset because they left such a mess until the owner came out at gave me $100.00 to have my carpet clean. Then we determine all the measurements was one. The owner apologize for the mistake and sent out to complete the job. Then the owner offer me another $150.00 because they had redo everything. I would like more than a $150.00 for a refund they mass up. For the waste time I would like at least get half of the refund,.

I hired this company to refinish a kitchen sink. Everything from assessing to coming up with a bid was done online. The project was on 8-19-2019. Since then they have had to come back three times. They had to come back on June 5, 2020, February 18, 2021 and on September 17, 2024. On June 5, 2020 they put a special coating that the technician said would last. Well it hasnt the peeling of the surface is ongoing and all they want to do is do it again. Im fed up and want my $872 back that I paid them.

    Business Response

Hello.  Let me start with the fact that we have made several attempts to correct the concerns with Mrs. Woodburn’s sink,  even after concluding that what we had seen was customer-caused by use/abuse.  See the pictures the customer has supplied.  Regarding us not going out to look at it in person and doing everything over text or email,  in our 21 years of being in business, that is common.   I met with the customer on September 17th and noticed several chips in the bottom of the sink, like before.  We talked, and while standing there, I saw that the kitchen was down to the studs. Nothing installed.  While I spoke of the correction that needed to be done, they stopped me and said they were not building the remodeled kitchen around this sink and wanted a full refund, which the warranty period was up in August of 2024.  I was willing to honor the warranty anyway.  The option I gave them was to bring the sink back to our shop and refinish it, and they could sell it and keep the money, which is now off the table.  We were willing to stand behind the product and workmanship per the warranty, and Mrs Woodburn refused.
    Thank you for your time

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

First off we were gonna rebuild the kitchen around the sink. He’s incorrect there. We told him that was the plan when we had it redone. Now 5 years later and refinished two more times it’s still not right. Another incorrect thing he says it was from misuse/ abuse, incorrect. We have a metal raised sink liner to protect the bottom and a cover that protects the sides. I’ll send a new picture. Ever since we had it redone we’ve used these to-protect the sink. I’d like to also point out we started the kitchen redo with the sink and then Covid happened, which put us on pause.

    Sincerely,

    Melissa Woodburn

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

This will be the fourth time the want to redo it. The third time the redid it, it was said that would be the last time with this coating that were putting on it. Now he says there’s another coating that’s better than the last one. How many times do I have to have this redone. It’s unacceptable.

    Sincerely,

    Melissa Woodburn
