We are supposed to be getting our new countertops installed by Hallmark Stone through Lowes. Lowes was great, but the customer service from ********************** has been horrible. They deserve zero stars because the lack of communication is ridiculous. These are supposed to be top of the line quality countertops and theyve broken 3 separate Dekton slabs and failed to inform us that the slabs were damaged and unable to be installed on the scheduled install date for the last two slabs. The first slab we were told had a swirl that would not pass Quality Control and that theyd get a new slab within a few days and get us a new install day. We heard nothing about the second slab having issues until I reached out the day before scheduled install to find out what time to expect them. Thankfully I called and found out about the broken slab before disconnecting the plumbing for our entire kitchen. Thankfully weve been doing this ourselves vs having a plumber come out each time to disconnect everything or we wouldve had multiple unnecessary trips for the plumbers and an even larger loss. I know no one likes giving bad news, but it seemed like they werent even going to tell us until they absolutely had to. The newest slab was supposed to be installed today, but apparently it broke Friday while our *** was on vacation and no one called to let us know they wouldn't be coming today. So we've now wasted our entire day waiting for their arrival. Supposedly, the new slab will come in tomorrow and will be installed next Monday now. We shall seeOur kitchen and dining room have been torn apart for the last month and a half. We have had to reschedule the plumbers 4 times already and we've wasted 6 PTO days for the installs because they did not contact us to tell us there were issues with the second and third broken slabs. Hopefully I'll have a positive update soon, but so far zero stars.

Good afternoon all,We share Ms. ******** frustration. We have had some material challenges on this project. Initially, we saw swirl marks on the first material that was received. The second shipment had another quality issue, and so we reordered. Once this material was received, approved, and put into our production queue, we then had a breakage issue as it went through production. We are hopeful that the issues are behind us, and we are pointing towards an installation of Monday 6/16. Our Project Manager plans to be in regular contact with Ms. **************

I signed a contract with Lowes to get my kitchen countertops replaced with quartz countertops. They employed Hallmark Stone in ******, ** to complete the project. Hallmark Stone started the project on June 25, 2024. The gentleman measured the kitchen counters and brought them on July 10. On July 12, a Hallmark Stone tech brought the backsplash stone to **** up against my existing backsplash and cracked my existing backsplash. Note: Compensation Requested. We Have picture and they have pictures. They took pictures and stated that they would report it for compensation since the existing backsplash is no longer available. The countertop brackets by the sink were drilled into my existing cabinets for no purpose (slightly damaged). NOTE: Compensation Requested. Have pictures. The countertop island had two black stain marks. Hallmark Stone sent **** twice to the house to use a drill pad to buff and tried to remove damages. It did NOT work. On July 26 the manager came and stated the countertop was destroyed. Hallmark came and removed the countertop from my existing cabinet. They brought a new countertop with a *************. Took that countertop back; and brought back the same one **** sanded on previously. We marked the first countertop underneath and Hallnark didnt know it. NOTE: Compensation for missing work (8) days of Hallmark appointments. Since the island was buffed; my request was asking 50% off the island. What a horrible installation company that Lowes gave to me as I am a great customer of Lowes! ********************** was very deceiving and decided they were NOT compensating anything at all..I contact ***** store manager ******; and he gave me a customer solutions service representative named ***************************. She stated that no one was responsible for any damages, issues, and the case was closed as she stated. I talked to (4) Lowes representative; approximately 3 hours; no one could help with anything. I have never reached out to the BBB on any business.

We do apologize that there were delays in the completion of the project. Construction projects can sometimes take unexpected turns, and we understand how frustrating this can be.During the tear-out/removal of existing countertops, and during install of new, some tile or wall damage might occur, and that possibility is made clear in the contract with ******. We work to avoid/minimize it whenever we can. If it does occur, it is not something that results in compensation. We have completed the project as specified, and addressed the issues that arose, and we are confident that the final outcome of the new countertops will be enjoyed for years to come. The project timeline and detail was reviewed by ***** and they agreed that while it did take longer and a few more visits than any of us wanted, it was completed to the terms of Lowes contract. We again apologize that it took longer than any of us wanted and wish the homeowner all the best with their new kitchen.

Title: Hallmark Stone's Countertop Installation: A Disheartening Experience ?? Rating: 1/5 My recent encounter with Hallmark Stone's countertop installation service left me thoroughly disappointed and disheartened. The entire process was riddled with issues that not only affected the quality of their work but also raised serious safety concerns. From the very beginning, the installation was marked by a lack of attention to detail. The crew left behind a chaotic mess, with remnants of the old countertop and a thick layer of dust and debris scattered haphazardly throughout my cabinets. Cleaning up after their work was an arduous task that I should not have had to deal with.To compound matters, after the installation was completed, they took vital components necessary for re-hooking up our plumbing and ignored all attempts to reach them for an explanation. ********** tried to intervene on our behalf, but their efforts were met with the same silence, leaving us frustrated and feeling abandoned.Regrettably, this was not the only instance where Hallmark Stone's customer service fell short. Prior interactions with them were unpleasant, characterized by **** responses and a general lack of empathy for our concerns as customers. The most concerning aspect was the alarming discovery of dangerous tools they carelessly left behind in our cabinets. Among them was a cutter resembling a razor blade. This oversight poses an immense safety hazard, especially if it had been stumbled upon by a child. In light of my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering Hallmark Stone for their countertop needs to think twice. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for customer satisfaction, and blatant disregard for safety are deeply concerning. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others, urging them to seek alternative options and avoid the distressing and potentially hazardous situation I had to endure.
