    Complainantsregular provider was unavailable at the time of the appointment.  When the Complainant came for her appointment on 1/18/24, the Complainant was advised that the regular provider was not going to make it into the office that day and a different provider was present to perform the exam at her option. Complainant chose to be seen but was not aware that the amount of the payment responsibility would change due to provider present being out of network.  Clinical notes confirm Complainant was seen by the hygienist but not by the provider present in the office because she stated that she "could not wait" for the provider to come in.  We are happy to provide a billing adjustment as requested.

    April of 2022, I went to Ferguson Dental for my regular check up and cleaning with x-rays. I have been a patient there for many, many years. There was a new dentist there, although she was from another sister company. She took my x-rays. She noticed one of my teeth was in bad shape and said I should get another x-ray. The tooth wasn't hurting at all. I never asked for this additional x-ray. The tooth wasn't hurting at all. I never asked for this additional x-ray. Years ago Doctor ***** said eventually I have to get something done with this tooth but it has never ever hurt.
    Now we're in June 2023, and I get several phone calls from an 800 number regarding Ferguson Dental. I thought it was from a hacker. I even called Ferguson Dental and reported this. Then I get a letter from a collection agency saying I owe $36 and it was being turned over because of non payment.
    I have received a bill for this $36. I called Ferguson Dental and was told 15 notices were sent out. I never received a paper bill and this was the first I knew about owing $36.
    All the years I dealt with Ferguson Dental my insurance paid 100% of cleaning and x-rays. I never expected to be charged for something that I didn't ask for.
    I paid this $36 so I do not have it on my credit score.
    I feel this was not not my fault and since I am on a limited senior income I should be refunded this amount.
    I am sending this letter and hope to get an answer. I want my credit cleared of this situation.

    s/w ******** and advised that the X-Rays completed were reviewed and found to be critical to her dental health.  To ensure customer satisfaction, refunded the patient $36.00.  Advised the patient that there was no adverse action taken by our collection partner TSI to her credit score.  Confirmed that invoices were being emailed to address patient confirmed as accurate.  The patient understood and was satisfied with the outcome.

    I finished paying for my dentures in 2020. The company kept my $921.60 though I never received my dentures. They wanted me to go and see a specialist because of a bone in my mouth that they thought would prevent them from having the dentures made. I saw the specialist, and he wanted over a thousand dollars that I didn't have. And I would have an operation. I shouldn't have had to do that because someone didn't know what they were doing. They should have told me in the beginning that they could not help me. I have since made my own wax try ins. I eat well with them. I want my money back.
