    On June 23rd 2023 I placed an online order for coffee from Festus Coffee Company in the amount of $62.31. After receiving no communication aside from the confirmation e-mail and text the day I placed my order, I sent an e-mail on July 8th requesting an update. On July 10th Timothy Friedmann responded via e-mail stating “Got the beans in. Will try and get roasting time as soon as I can.” After no further communication, I sent another e-mail on July 28th requesting another update. To date I have received no further communication. I found out in early August that a retailer in town that was carrying the coffee had stopped, and that several customers had come in complaining that they had not received their orders from Festus Coffee Company. Apparently this has happened to several people, and the website is still up and taking orders as of yesterday, October 4th, 2023. I would like my money back since I paid for a product I never received, but at the very least I would like to prevent others from placing orders and winding up in the same situation.

    I placed an order for 5lb bag of ground coffee on 06.22.2023. I still had not received any communication and sent an email on 07.10.2023. The phone is not in service and they do not answer their ******** messages either. I sent another email on 07.19.2023 and stated that my next step is to file a dispute with my bank. I got an emailed response on 07.23.2023 that stated: I've been getting myself out. I apologize on not being active anymore. I will issue a refund. I then sent an email on 08.05.2023 since I have still not received a refund. I did contact my bank again this morning and because he stated he would issue a refund they will not dispute it because I have "been in contact" with the merchant. I did email the merchant again today (08.09.2023) to notify them that I am filing a complaint with BBB.
