    I signed a contract with Fletcher Asphalt in Sept of 2020 to get my driveway asphalted they were to grade the underlayment treat and lay 2" of compressed asphalt for $16000. The driveway was laid in Oct. we were not home at the time. In the spring I noticed areas where the asphalt was chipping away, I noticed weeds, grass, and even mushrooms growing through the asphalt. ****, the owner, came out an did a bunch of patch overlayment it looks horrible he's tried to kill the vegetation but it seems more like he's putting fertilizer on them it's still an issue now I have cracks showing up all over and a sink hole that's growing daily. We're coming up on the end of the 2 yr warranty and **** refuses to return any form of communication. I'm presently getting bids to see how much it will cost to repair the driveway they've suggested that the underlayment was not graded or treated and these problems will continue. Driveway looks aweful and it's not even 2 yrs old. I'm paying for a driveway that's falling apart! I feel **** should reimburse me for the cost to make it right..

    Thank you so much for responding I wasn't sure if the complaint send, hopefully you received the pictures as well. July of 21 is when I started doing all communication with **** via text. I Know the first time I sent him pictures was on 5-26-21 again on 6-10-21 he probably come out but I'm not 100%. Here's what I have on my phone,

    7-16-21 was to come to spray weeds, no show

    7-26-21 came to spray weeds

    8-1-21 he was to come out to spray for weeds but didn't he said he found a new weed killer that was guaranteed to work first time he ordered it, it would be a couple of days to get here he came a week later.

    8-22-21 is when he came out to do the overlay on the deteriorating patches of asphalt behind the house

    9-27-21 was suppose come to kill weeds and did more overlay down both sides of my driveway, I have a circle drive he canceled

    10-1-21 came and did the overlay and killed more weeds

    10-12-21 sent his son to kill more weeds

    10-29-21 talked with him about sealing the driveway cause he said if we did that it would cut the oxygen to the vegetation and that would fix the problem. He said it was to late in the season to seal

    In the new year I had my husband take over this nightmare unfortunately he doesn't keep very good records.

    **** came out a couple of times to kill more grass. Then he offered to seal the back half of the driveway at his cost 6-5-22.  We've tried at least 6 times to contact him he refuses to return calls or texts. We still have grass, weeds just vegetation and now we have a sink hole in the middle of my drive, cracks showing up everywhere also I think the patches of asphalt that was falling apart is the beginning is doing it again 

    I just really want him to pay for the repairs I'm still paying for the driveway,
