      A great percentage  of dog ears pine treat fence boards were weathered and very aged in appearance. Many boards beneath and shuffled in the sawdust and grain residue present, it were so bad the board dust spread on my clothing and hair. I felt the mites crawling in my hair and clothing. A percentage of the board had splintering splits throughout many boards. Some boards  came apart. The boards were warped and uneven. It was difficult to find board fit properly and line up with other pieces of boards. There were green stains raised above the lateral surface and face like a greenish mixture chewed mites wood residue. Lifting a board the wood dust spread all over the place with the wind accelerated the green dust dispersal all over the place. Finding a board in good condition was highly frustrating. I have never or never purchased an item from Handyman in such a rubbish condition. I was promised that I would get my money back because of the poor condition the fence materials. The spokesperson was misleading several times.This individual didn't want me return the fence material in a rental truck. He said don't  worry we boards and we have the stack boards picked on the next day. However, I lost chance to point out the damage materials and weathered and infested fence boards and old 4x4 fence posts.

      Resolved via refund of returned merchandise.

      Refused items were picked up (no pickup charge) and refund was issued on November 22, 2024. Due to banking delays on refund transactions it is possible that funds were not showing available on November 25. 

      Refund included original purchase price of 47 fence boards, 15 posts, original delivery charge and applicable sales tax totaling $396.37.  Credit amount was processed to the same card number used for original purchase.

      I called an employee from the lumber department promised a full refund because the pine boards were infested with mites and residual wood dust, which spread to my clothing; further outdoor weathered condition with rusting and raw and used appearance and many pieces were splits and splitting on both ends of the boards. Handyman's employee promised a full refund. Since Handyman denies the prior discussions, I reject the actions on the part of *******. Staff in the lumber department made three misleading statements. I believe the handling of my purchases had some racial overtones. I have seen the quality  of the lumber at location was clean and processed in good condition.  Why did I received such trashes and poor quality lumber? Did Handyman use a third party vendor?

      This matter has not been resolved. Handyman Hardware store are not taking any action to resolve, Cherokee Construction has not admitted any wrong doing and refuse to take any corrective action. So, we are being forced to use the courts to get a judgement. Do you have a list of Attorneys that we ask to case on a pro bona?
