    ***, the owner, was hired to do some plumbing work. He took $900 as down payment to purchase materials needed for the job. He claims to have been hit by a car and hasnt shown up with materials and barely did some labor to get started. I found in Casenet that he has a lengthy criminal record and our money was likely used to post bond to get out of jail. He was released on a monitoring system during this time that he took the money and actually responded to repeated requests to show up or refund the money. He has since ghosted us and is no longer responding although he insists he isnt a thief. His wife or girlfriend said she would start paying us back. She wont respond either.

    I am making her payments already and we are currently working this issue out and  I was not able to finish the job because I was hit by a vehicle.

    *** came out to my house and put a water heater in. My tenants said they think he was under the influence. He finished the job after two days. I had a problem with HVAC and hired someone else to do that work. While working on the hvac he noticed that the water heater was hooked up incorrectly and notified me because he was in fear that the home would blow up. Since then Ive had an inspection and they couldnt pass Dans work because he was coming up as an unlicensed contractor when they scanned the heater. Ive now been fined by the county and my house wont pass inspection. Now Im stuck with the option to pay for another company to reinstall this heater. I cant find ********** called the number and its disconnected. Hes a doing faulty work and causing problems.
