Prestige was next door putting a roof on. They told me I had hail damage. My insurance company went on the roof with Prestige. American Family mailed me a check for the repairs. They wanted half paid up front. I wrote a check for $11,532.64 on 12/12/2023. They cashed it the next day. I have not been able to reach them by phone for the main line or a personal number for the owner, ****. I even went on to ******** with no response.

On October 26, 2023 we signed a contract with Prestige Construction & Exteriors to have a new roof installed. At this time we put down 50% of the total project ($9,054.62). The orginal work was supposed to start on January 11, 2024. The work was pushed back and product was never delivered, when we reached out we were told it was being pushed due to weather. After a few other time frames being missed we received a phone call from one Prestige's employees on January 24, 2024. The employee stated that the owner ************************* has stopped paying his employees, blocked employees phone numbers and ******** accounts, that he also is behind on bills and that our product never got paid for by them even though we paid Prestige over $9,000. The employee used phases like "skipped town," "took the money and ran," "embezzalment." At that time he gave us the owners contact information. We called the owner *************************, never got an answer but left messages. We also sent a demand email asking for work to get started or a full refund and still have not heard back from him. On January 26, we received an email from the Prestige employee asking us to join a class action lawsuit against the owner to which we have not yet replied to.

Hired the listed company in November of 2023 to complete repairs for damage caused by a hail storm. After no contact from the company for approximately two months. The sales representative I had been working with stated on 1/22 that he is quitting the company and the owner has no money/spent all money in accounts. He stated that the owner had not been returning phone calls, showing up to work, or completed work for other customers for approximately 5-6 weeks. Work has not been completed on my home, no materials have been ordered. I spoke with the owner of the company on 1/24 who verified that no materials had been ordered yet and he has no employees to complete the work. The owner only spoke to the excuses of weather, materials back ordered, and his employees. I insisted that my money be refunded immediately. No resolution was met during that phone call. I have also filed a complaint with the ******** Attorney General, and I have spoken with at least three additional home owners who are in this similar situation with this company. I have reached out via social media, and have verified several others are as well.

I signed a contract for a new roof/siding on 12-12-23. I provided a deposit in a check for *********. The check was cashed on 12-15-23.I was contacted by a former employee on 1-13-24 stating he no longer worked there and did not know status of my order. Per *** the materials have not been ordered as of 1-15-24. I spoke with **** the owner on 1-15-24 and I would like my money back since the materials have not been purchased. I was told they would be purchased in December of 23 and would arrive beginning of January. If ************************* can prove he placed my order that would be sufficient but I have no proof and feel they are in breach of contract.

My $23,350 new roof was installed July 28, 2021. The reason for the delay in filing a complaint with the BBB is because I was giving the company time to honor their warranty. On January 21, 2022, my freshly painted interior walls and ceilings in my dining area, den and living room walls had water damage after a snowstorm. My newly refinished hardwood floors are also showing damage. A professional roof inspection by ********************* of ******************** has identified the following issues with the roof:1. All step flashing is improperly installed to all vertical walls 2. A terrible repair was made on the rear valley that traps water and allows it to enter the interior. This repair to the rear valley that dead ends into the sidewall and require replacement siding due to the damage this installation caused 3. The original roof had aluminum exhaust vents & was changed to a ridge vent system. When the original vents were removed, it appears they used a hammer and busted the wood decking causing holes in 8 pieces of plywood decking 4. No drip edge installed on eves 5. Tyvack house was not used on vertical walls to prevent water from entering behind flashing 6. Ridge vent is the wrong application for this type of structure due to the ridge lengths at the top peak. Ridge vent installed lower than this main ridge may cause the lower ridge vent to become intake vents and allow water to enter the attic 7. After a year, roofing shingles have a very aggressive sealant line and will take many man hours to repair the shingles, it will be very difficult to tie into without damaging adjoining shingles 8. The valleys, dead valleys, chimney crickets, step flashings, drip edge is very difficult areas to do repairs As of July 21, 2022, ************************* of Prestige C&E has stated in an email - he will only put a $4000 bandage on roof. He will not fix the real issues with the ********* is not taking responsibility for the internal damages Plus Internal damage due $10,370
