We have been here for two and a half years and were told that they were going to fix the ceiling. The problem is moving from the bedroom into the bathroom. I have continued to put in maintenance request and nothing has been done. Also we were given a month to month lease starting 10/2023 for $845 each month. We received the lease this month. We called and we were informed that the month to month lease was a mistake and that if we signed for a year it would be $920.00 and the month to month lease that they have states that it would add an extra $100.00 to the already increased rent. When I went I went to show her a screen shot of the month to month lease showing the amount of $845 a month she stated that it was a mistake. She did not even try to offer anything to compensate for her mistake. She was very snippy. We would like the repairs done and we would like the offer that was first given to me for the month to month lease in the amount of $845 a month.

When I sent out the renewal lease there was an option where it sent out a renewal 12 month and a month to month. I did not know they received the month to month lease. So when I saw that it was sent I went in a canceled both options on  9/1/23, which was the last day they would've been able to sign because they have to give a 30 day notice. I resent out the original 12 month lease, because they had not signed. She came into my office on 9/1/23 after she received the other email asking them to sign their lease. Afterwards she called 2-3 times. I spoke with her roommate and he stated they had received a month to month lease. I  then told him that information was incorrect and that I did not know that had been sent out to them. I apologized and told him that amount was wrong. I told him it was not going to be $845 whether he signed a month to month lease, or a year lease. He said he would need to talk to his roommate. Then she decided to come into the office. She showed me  the screen shot. I said again that the information was incorrect and that every month to month lease we send has an additional $100 attached to it and that all of our month to month leases state that. I then showed her a month to month lease of what it would look like if I actually sent it to her. She then said that it wasn't what it said. I then said again that the information was incorrect and that it wasn't the lease I intended on sending them. They ended up signing a year lease, which was actually cheaper than the month to month lease. The lease they signed when they first moved here is a lease that consists of everything that is included if they wanted to do a month to month. We use templates and they are all the same. Also, while she was in the office I asked her to put in another work order for her sealing. She put one in on the 8/29/23. The maintenance  person did the work on 8/31/23 at 10:40 am.

Hello I have attached some important documents to support my recent reply. The 1st attachment is what a month to month lease would have actually looked like if I intended to send one we use a template. The 2nd attachment is the year lease that she has already signed and it was signed on 9/1 which is the last day to sign a lease as it violates the lease agreement of giving a 30 day notice after the 1st. The 3rd attachment is the lease that was mistakenly sent if you look closely it says lease renewal and then a month to month following the previous lease as it is for if they already had a month to month which they do not so I would have never sent one unless they asked. If they would have asked me they would have received the 1st attachment. The 4th attachment is her work order history she has only asked about her ceiling 1 time in October 2022, 2nd time January 2023, and now 8/29/2023 after the issue with the lease. I just started working here in April so I wouldn't had known she still had an issue if she hadn't call me personally or mentioned it but she had not again until the lease issue on 8/29. If you look at the work order placed on 8/29 it was placed 19 days ago. the 5th attachment is my maintenance guy board that states ***( her apartment number) will let me know when she is ready. She needed to clean both of her bathrooms out so that him and a popcorn ceiling painter could go in and redo both bathrooms she never said anything back to him. 19 days has passed. So yesterday we went to knock on her door no response she came down and told him she completely forgot and walked in my office and said the exact same thing and apologized. So I asked her has she cleaned her bathrooms out she stated no but will have everything ready next Wednesday 9/27 and they can start @8 am. So she stated it was a major issue but we were trying to fix everything 8/29 and she completely forgot about her issue she has been having for 2 years? I do hope these attachments bring clarity to the situation thank you, have a blessed day.
