    I purchased a raffle ticket for a horse from ***********************************, a representative of Canterbury Stables, on November 25, 2023 for $35.  The drawing was held on December 16th.  The first person drawn was called on the phone and refused the horse.  The second person drawn was me.  I was called and accepted the horse.  At this time, it was my understanding that the horse was located in ******, ** at the Canterbury Stables.  I was made aware, by another party, ************************* (father of *********, who was present for the drawing) that the horse was actually in **** and was being shipped to MO.  On December 18th, I sent a text message to ********* to find out when the horse would be shipped.  She stated that she was hoping it was within the next week.  At this point, no one had ever mentioned that the winner would be liable for shipping costs.  That same evening, I received multiple text messages from ************************* (Elizabeths mother and co-host of the raffle) acknowledging that I won the horse. There are text exchanges between ********* and I on December 18th all pertaining to the horse I won.
