    On 01/07/2025, **********************'s Heating and Cooling fixed my outdoor HVAC unit after it was damaged by my neighbor. On 01/08/2025, I paid **********************'s Heating and Cooling $1200 for the work. The owner, Matt *********************** reached out to me on 01/21/25, and stated my neighbor paid him $600 towards the work he did on my unit. Mr. ********************** stated he would be refunding us $600 back to my credit card. Mr. ********************** also sent me the receipt showing my neighbor gave him $600. Mr. ********************** told me he had started the refund and that I would see it back on my card. On 01/29/25, I reached out to Mr. ********************** about the refund. He stated I would receive the refund in 7-14 days. On 02/14/25, I reached back out to Mr. ********************** and told him I never received a refund. The same day Mr. ********************** sent me a picture showing he refunded the $600 that day through square. On 2/21/25, I reached back out to Mr. ********************** to inform him the refund did not go through and disappeared from my account. I then reached out to Square who stated the refund was rejected due to an issue on his end. I informed Mr. ********************** of what the Square *** said. He then issued a 2nd refund for $600. Mr. ********************** stated that if this refund didn't go through he would refund me with cash. On 2/27/25, I reached out to Mr. ********************** to inform him the 2nd refund through Square did not go through and disappeared. Mr. ********************** stated he could not give me cash after stating he would before. Mr. ********************** then stated he would refund my neighbor and they could just pay me. Mr. ********************** has never refunded my neighbor. On 3/14/25, I spoke with Mr. ********************** and he stated the $600 refund is between me and my neighbor. Mr. ********************** still has never refunded me or my neighbor the $600. Mr. ********************** was paid $1800 for a $1200 job.

    Mr. Hooten has refunded the $600 as of 3/17/25.
